The first impression was very bad. We were treated horribly by hostess/waitress. We have two service dogs. We requested a table. The only tables available were pushed together for a large party. The server was perturbed and more concerned about a possible table of 15 people that may come in on a Tuesday at 9:30 in the morning, than the two paying customers in front of her. Once the tables were rearranged, the server tried to bully us into sitting us at the tiny two top, which would not accommodate us. When we moved to larger table the server got hostile threw down the menus and yelled she was getting the manager. Once we spoke with the manager, got a different server, we had an enjoyable meal. Our server was polite, efficient and made a wonderful tip.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the waiter we had was very attentive and accurate in his service. We enjoyed our visit here very much and will be returning next time we are around this area.

Love going here, always have since I was little. This morning our server, Felisha, argued with management in front of our table, while we were eating our food. I understand being busy and having a slight attitude but take it out back. Also, after trying to check out, she had an attitude and wouldnt let us pay our bill, instead said she couldn’t do it and barely apologized then stormed off.

The oil needed to be changed for the pancake balls. They were gross and our other food was cold.To top it off a couple came in after us and received their food first! The waitress was wonderful.

The service was rushed..to find out they were closing soon. 2 of our plates had hair in them. The waitress forgot to give us ...utensils, napkins, straws. Horrible experience we tried to make the best of it.

I wish I could give one star but I guess you gotta give them some kind of pat on the back. I also guess you can’t eat here while black with your blended family. I’m black and my fiancé is Hispanic, we have two well behaved small children who wanted nothing but dennys (favorite place we moved from Florida). We go in get seated and that’s it. We sat there waiting for someone to take our drink order and nothing, everyone that came in after us was seated and there drink order was taken promptly. So after about 10 minutes we hear the manager ask a younger waitress if she would PLEASE take our table, she reluctantly said yes with a eye roll and that was it for me. We got up and left, they didn’t care. Side note : I tip always more than 20$ even on a 30$ tab. My kids are not messy and I clean the table because my OCD won’t allow me to leave any one’s table dirty. I’m disappointed in Dennys, it was not busy at all so there’s no excuse. I went to IHOP, way better service and we were treated like people.

Everyone that comes in is told a 30 minute wait, took over an hour to get seated normally not an issue, just nice to know. Wanted to order a shake but was lied to by the server when she said the machine was broke, after our order, the table across from me ordered a shake and one was served in a very short time. Didn't appreciate the laziness of the server. Also, I don't want to hear about how busy they (the server) has been since 9AM and it was 1 PM, I don't talk to them about how busy I am when I start at 6:30AM and work until after 8:00PM (2 jobs). I don't appreciate going out to eat and just hear complaining from the server. Oh, and yes we did leave a tip despite the issues, was actually 20+ percent, just will be quite some time before going back, if at all.

They are only open from 7 am to 2 pm and wicked understaffed. Expect little service and grumpy people. My kid likes going there for some reason which is the only reason we go. Food is average but not horrible.

For a while we enjoyed going there for a good and cheap breakfast. The last time we went was really bad. The cooks and waitress, the only one that day are always attentive. The old lady, the guy at the desk and the other woman standing around doing nothing while the waitress did all the work. Neither of the 2 people standing around offered to help clear tables, wipe them down and in one instance the guy at the front desk refused to go outside and look for a patron that had be placed on the waitlist.Geez, get control of your staff and hire people who want to work. They appear to be relatives of the owner.

Not a fan of the claw machine in the entrance. It's so bright and addictive looking our kid was mad when we told her no and it kind of set the tone for the rest of the meal for her. If she had played and lost same outcome unhappy kid. Food and service was good tho.

Due mostly to short staffing at the Portland Maine Denny's, my experience sucked. Ice cream machine was down so no dessert or shakes or smoothies. Walked in to find a half hour wait and 15 people ahead of me and 9 open tables that no one used the whole time I was there. I imagine due to low staff. Food came out quickly, less then 10 minutes. But it came out cold. Tried ordering poached eggs, but was told by the waitress to pick something else. Reason? Their cooks suck at making poached eggs. She said every order of them is sent back.So clean bathroom and quick cooks. Those were my take away good things. The rest of the experience was bad.
