There were 4 of us, the place-qite lovely was busy, the food was palatable. The restaurant was clean and neat, but the service was atrocious. Boston Sail Loft was substantially an overall better experience with phenomenal food and spectacular -amazingly- customer service.

Our overall experience was lackluster. We had 4 chicken parmasan meals and all 4 of them the chicken was overcooked and tough to chew. The pesto Pasta was gross and vinegar tasting. Another person got the frying chicken sandwich and her chicken was also overcooked and chewy. The mussels were overly fishy.
Our server was not personable at all, it made the experience even worse. She hardly came to the table and we waited 10 minutes for her to come back and ask us if we wanted a check, when we clearly were all done eating.
To top this whole expensive experience off. The girl at the front desk didn't validate one of our parking tickets and when we called the restaurant she said oh we did and the attendant said no it wasn't..... another $22 down the drain....
Don't waste your time and money.

My family loves visiting Portland and eating at Dimillo's, and normally the food/service is spot on. This last visit, they did forget one of our dishes in the to-go order and we didn't realize it until returning home- over an hour away. While we didn't check our order to confirm either, it was an inconvenience. That said, we did call Dimillo's and they immediately removed the missing item from our bill; they did make it right!
It's still a wonderful place to eat, and we look forward to eating here again the next time we visit Portland!

We had debated between 2-3 places but ended up here and didn’t regret it. We sat on the back deck outside. Great view and the lobster and fish sandwiches were delicious.

Absolutely amazing! Food, service, atmosphere they have it all. I've been there quite a few times and was never disappointed! Try the muscle appetizer and ask for extra bread! The sauce should be sold by the pint with a hot loaf of bread! The Jumbo Bloody Mary's are also a must. A must try!

I recently visited a seafood restaurant called DiMillo's On the Water and I must say that it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I was hit by the aroma of fresh seafood that made my mouth water.
The interior of the restaurant was elegant and had a coastal theme with beautiful paintings of sea creatures and ships. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and they took their time to explain the menu and offer suggestions.
For my main course, I ordered the lobster, mussel and fried scallop. and it was cooked to perfection. The lobster was moist, flaky, and had a lovely smoky flavor from the kitchen.
