Bare bones sports bar with cheap beers. $4 drafts from 7 till close is great. Definitely feels like more of a local spot. Head in and chat with the old heads.

Had the frozen irish coffee and it was so good. Not exceptionally strong with booze or coffee but very agreeable, I could have had one of everything on thay frozen menu.

Walked in off the street, in a great mood, to get a frozen Irish Whiskey and we were treated by the rudest bartender. Blonde woman acted like we were her worst enemies. I kept ignoring her intentional rude behavior until I couldn’t and we finally walked out. Still don’t know what her problem was, but made a lovely day a little sour. Wouldn’t go back for anything. Recommend anywhere else!!

Great drink prices, but that’s where the positives end. The bartender and all staff were hostile at best. Reluctant to serve a group of 22-24 year olds with proper ID and didn’t trust anyone to “afford the drinks” so one person had to prepay for all of them while the other patrons ran up a tab. After countless uncomfortable stares from the bartender and apparent manager, we left. Good bar if you’re a local, not so much otherwise.

Great spot off the original harbor cobblestone road. Rumor has it the original seawall is in the basement! I hear that happy hour is absolutely incredible! Come in at 3 for $1.99 beers! Wish I had time to try their famous Jell-O shots (look em up)! We came in the early afternoon and had some frozen Irish coffees and a black & tan! Jen was AMAZING! I would recommend coming back just because of her and her fantastic warm and welcoming customer service!

BY FAR our favorite bar in Portland. Over the top friendly bartender. Service was faster than anywhere within 100 miles. They were filling my beer before i finished. Ridiculously cheap beers. 12 beers and nachos for $35? WHAT!? Food was fine. Atmosphere was locals. Music was good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. 40% tip feels like I’m cheap. Go here.

Only had time to stop in for a quick drink.
Vibe is on point with location.

My friend and I (both over 21) got rejected from this bar with our real IDs because they “only take Maine ids.”??? Like wha

This is the opposite of most Portland places, in the best way. Instead of being garishly indie, it's basic and functional (but charming, lots of local art on the walls). Instead of being expensive and underwhelming, it's delicious drinks at a good price (we did not try the food). Instead of standoffish employees who are mad at you for making them work, you get charming and attentive (but not intrusive) bartenders. And they make sure your dog gets a drink too!

Overall 10/10

Great place! I plan on returning soon and trying their pizza. Maybe a jello-shot or two! Will do a FULL review at that time.
