Disappointed overall. Good atmosphere. Was surprised by the counter style seating. The food was 7/10, but should have been 8.5+/10 for the price. Service was 6.5/10, with long waits for the entree and check. The dirty rice appeared to be more focused on crunchiness than flavor. Cod was well cooked but the bread addition to the dish was confusing and felt stale.

Everything was lovely!

The staff is slightly stuffy or stiff - they don't need to be perfect. Relaxed staff = relaxed patrons.

Absolutely delicious brunch! Everything I got was perfection. Highly recommend the Pao de Deus and Pastel de Nata. They also offered almost any cocktail as a mocktail and you can tell the bartenders put a lot of effort into making the mocktails elevated.

Went here for a business dinner and thoroughly enjoyed sharing lots of small plates.

The service was excellent. Fried calamari had thinly slices green olives which were just the perfect addition. Plenty of options for a pescatarian and really killer wine choices.

Save room for dessert. The chocolate mousse was incredible with nuts, a touch of lemon zest and sea salt.

First time eating at this new establishment in Portland. What a joy! From the well-versed servers and attention to detail being able to reiterate the menu and explain each item, super impressive. The food was delicious. We had a number of small plates. The decor is cheerful and bright and delightful, whoever designed the lighting did a fantastic job. The music was just at the right volume, great choice of Tunes. We will return!

This was one of the best dining experiences I've had in Portland as a lifetime resident. The food was amazing, delicious, perfectly portioned and some of the best flavors I've had the privilege to taste. The staff takes care of you and the atmosphere pits you at ease. Impeccable.

Douro is quickly becoming one of my new favorites in Portland. We've had a few things from there: mushroom porridge, the brunch steak and eggs, and the cataplana. The cataplana is one of my favorite seafood dishes I've had in the area. The service and atmosphere is exceptional. Another thing I love about Douro is that they do 3 oz pours of wine.

Excellent all around! Bar service was great, very approachable cocktails (love the mint marg) and friendly/helpful bartender Bianca! Food selection was perfect - a good amount of options but not overwhelming. Everything was delish; the cabbage small plate is one of the best things I've ever eaten and the steak was to die for. Atmosphere was relaxed and they had super comfy bar stools. Overall a top 5 dining experience for this year. I'll be back!

We stopped in to Douro for delicious drinks and an appetizer, but will definitely be back for a meal in the near future! We were greeted by an enthusiastic and gracious hostess, and loved sitting along the window where we could watch the kitchen, the bar, and the people arriving. The space is nicely decorated with twinkly lights, greenery, and a sweet holiday feel. The staff is attentive and gracious, Andrew was our server and he couldn’t have been better!
