Poor seating arrangements. After we specifically asked to sit at the window facing table, we were asked to shift to the bar seating because they wanted to save the window facing table for a larger group (which never came). Just a few minutes later another duo was seated at the so-called group table. That got on my nerves. Also, the bar seating had us face to face with the staff and it was uncomfortable. Thankfully, our waiter was sweet enough to make up for that bitter experience with the hostess.
The food was average, I enjoyed the tomato soup and the grilled cheese. The panino was decent. Everything is quite overpriced though.

Interesting experience. The service was mixed. Our waiter was one of the sweetest and jovial I've ever encountered, but the person who seated us was quite rude. The space was smaller and colder than I would've liked. We sat at the bar and it felt like we were uncomfortably close to the workers behind the counter. The food was good, but definitely overpriced for the quality and portion size.

Me and my partner really enjoyed the vibe of this place. The guy that took our order was super nice and created great conversation. He was also very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. He recommended the vanilla shake which was honestly really good! My partner got it for himself but I ended up drinking half of it haha. I got the poutine fries with duck and a duck egg which was packed with a ton of flavor. I was not disappointed by the fries at all! On the other hand my partner got the DUCKFAT FRENCH DIP sandwich, which unfortunately was lacking flavor. For the most part this place offered good food and we would go back to try some other dishes out.

Love the communal seating! Everything about this place reminds me of Portland in its core! Great people and atmosphere and just a little quirky.

I’ve been here twice now and while the food is very good I do have some complaints about my last visit. First, the French Dip, while tasty the size per price at $25 is out of control for roughly 3 ounces of meat. At home in Philly if I’m paying that much for a cheesesteak it’s prime cut ribeye and there’s 16 ounces of it and I’m stuffed eating half of it. This sandwich left me still hungry. Second, for a place that prides itself on its fries being given all the tiny end cuts and being charged $14 for a large is wild. I’ll never do it again. Finally, what is the “kitchen staff appreciation” charge for. I’ve worked in many many restaurants and eaten at thousands and never once seen this anywhere. Chances are I won’t be back even though the food is good. $42 for a small sandwich and fries is crazy.

Went on a weekend evening and didn't have to wait to be seated. The go-to dish is the poutine fries. The Brussel sprouts were also very nice!

A wee bit pricey, but atmosphere and food quality made up for it. If they have a duck confit club, i'd just live next door and eat that every day.

Yeah, closing up shop will show em! Morons.
God Bless ICE. Don't flood them with bad reviews
Amazing food. The tomato soup was awesome. My only issue is with the cooks. 1 constantly changed his gloves the other didn't wear any, even after using a dirty rag to clean he would continue to make food.

Everyone working was wicked friendly and the fries were amazing, especially with the truffle ketchup. I will definitely come back!

Overrated? Maybe, especially with the high price tag, but definitely some really good meals. Everything hit. Table favorite was the Duckfat Caesar which looked incredible and was insanely flavorful. The Duckfat Poutine was nothing extraordinary, given it was $18, but still a solid dish with a lot of flavor. Sandwiches were pretty good but definitely not worth the $17-18 it costs for each. Surprised they did not have a duck sandwich at the time.

The duck isn’t the only thing that’s going to be fat after you dine here! The food was amazing. The biggest highlight was the duck fat poutine, and it’s totally worth adding the fried egg and the duck confit on top! The duck fat milkshakes were thick, creamy and so delicious. The ONLY reason I didn’t give the atmosphere 5 stars is because the inside has the stools fixed to the floor and you can’t move them, which makes it very hard for a larger individual to sit anywhere comfortably. Fortunately, we were able to move outside and sit where the chairs could be moved, and it was perfect!
Great menu with things you don’t see every day. Everything was amazing and the staff was very friendly. The homemade sodas were great. They don’t carry the usual Pepsi/Coke product products. They have communal seating which some people may not prefer, but it wasn’t bad. Definitely worth checking out.
Always over busy during season we tend to avoid unless we have visitors. Now that HH is back out of season we can hang here much more often. thank you for this. Josh is really good and most hospitable. The pimento board is super good and of course their fries. To benefit from the drinks HH pricing we will order a half price bottle wine next time and skip the full price beers $9+. I won't give a 5-star review to any restaurant charging us a kitchen appreciation fee of 3.5% and we make it a point to frequent much less. Winter HH pricing will make it all worthwhile.
