Poor seating arrangements. After we specifically asked to sit at the window facing table, we were asked to shift to the bar seating because they wanted to save the window facing table for a larger group (which never came). Just a few minutes later another duo was seated at the so-called group table. That got on my nerves. Also, the bar seating had us face to face with the staff and it was uncomfortable. Thankfully, our waiter was sweet enough to make up for that bitter experience...
Interesting experience. The service was mixed. Our waiter was one of the sweetest and jovial I've ever encountered, but the person who seated us was quite rude. The space was smaller and colder than I would've liked. We sat at the bar and it felt like we were uncomfortably close to the workers behind the counter. The food was good, but definitely overpriced for the quality and portion size.
Me and my partner really enjoyed the vibe of this place. The guy that took our order was super nice and created great conversation. He was also very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. He recommended the vanilla shake which was honestly really good! My partner got it for himself but I ended up drinking half of it haha. I got the poutine fries with duck and a duck egg which was packed with a ton of flavor.
