We ended up at Dutch's the other day for brunch because our other brunch place didn't work out. When I picked it on a map, I didn't realize it was counter service. Counter service is ok, but not always my favorite- personal preference. Waiting on line have me plenty of time to stare at the cinnamon roll though so I had to get one for the table. We had a great brunch here on Sunday. Excellent food, large portions and friendly and prompt counter service. My favorite was the thick slices of homemade sourdough toast with blueberry preserves! I would definitely go back when I’m in Portland again.
If you've never been consider this your warning- you'll get hooked! The food is great and there's a big menu. Everyone is so friendly and the place feels calm and welcoming. Beware of the desserts right by the register! They're hard to pass up!
