After decades of eating in Mexican restaurants, I can now say I've experienced the worst burrito I've ever tasted. Mushy and rubbery outside and tasteless inside. Wrapped in foil and "served" on a cardboard tray, it had to be microwaved. El Rayo even screwed that up with the burrito being cold inside. Even the corn chips that came with it were stale. I will never eat here again.

Their beef is so yummy best consistency. The quesadilla is so good. What hot sauce do you guys have on the table? It's really good and I would like to buy a bottle.
The food was rather bland. My steak taco was good but could’ve used more seasoning. The shrimp taco was fine but once again had little flavor. The fish taco was not good. The fish itself seemed to be ground up or chopped to the point where it appeared ground. The atmosphere was better than the food.

really can’t say anything positive about this place. A good taco does the simple things well: it should have a good tortilla, the main ingredient should be flavorful and fresh, and the toppings should add to the flavor. the tacos from this place fail in every respect. The shells were dry and flavorless. The meat was bland, as if it were boiled to 180 degrees and not even in the same room as salt or other seasonings. The mushrooms tasted like they were out of a can. The toppings ranged from bland and slimy, over-prepared peppers to bland and limp lettuce. Oh yeah, if you don’t like lettuce on your taco, make sure to tell them because they put it on even if the menu doesn’t disclose it.
From there, nothing gets better. The guac is, you guessed it, bland and made fresh maybe a day or two ago. The salsa is fine but nothing special. The chips are unsalted and, again, flavorless.
There is no table service and you have to bus everything yourself, but the prices are still sky high and they ask for a tip (defaults are standard 18, 20, and 22%… But for what, to stand there and take my order?).
Go somewhere else.

Fantastic for celiac. Gluten free fryer! Everything is gluten free except burritos and quesadillas. Grill is shared, but you can easily avoid it. Food was delicious. Margarita was awesome. Outdoor back patio was perfect for summer drinks and food!
