Stunning place, on a marina, to enjoy the Portland waterfront and have great food and a cold beer, wine, or cocktail. We love the fish and chips, the Lobster rolls, even the hot dogs with homemade relish are extraordinary!

My husband and I checked out EVO X, the progeny of EVO, one of Portland’s best restaurants. It is a food truck on steroids. The menu is on a “COVID“ safe, large blackboard for all to see and not touch. Yes, you can get a red snapper hot dog served with homemade (spicy) relish for the kids, but they are so good you better order one for yourself as well. Ask for the relish on the side for the kiddies, and eat it yourself, it is that good. Their signature chick pea fries are on the menu, and these are no ordinary fries. I call them crack cocaine, they are addictive. Make sure you order the fried fish, In the lightest and tastiest batter. This was extraordinary. The tuna, seared on the outside, and rare within, is every bit as good as the tuna served in the mothership. The food is every bit as good as the spectacular views. Add to that, a full bar, and I know where I am eating, frequently, this summer. Some tables are under a shade cover providing some protection from the sun. Life has handed us lemons, this summer, but EVO X is lemonade to life’s lemons!
