Amazing har gow, pork buns, and soup dumplings. The vibe is definitely old school — not hip — but the booths are comfortable, the food is delicious and fresh, and the service is super friendly. Loved it, will absolutely come back

Quiet atmosphere. There was little to no customers, no music playing.. the only thing that broke the silence was the loud people at the bar. Don't be fooled by the price range Google shows you.. You will be paying a premium! No sides are available.. If you want fried rice, etc. along with your dish, you'll be paying for two entrees. Some plates have a small cup of white rice with your meal if your lucky. No tap drinks, unless perhaps alcoholic. Server was as attentive as average anywhere else as of late, in other words.. once to order, once to serve, once to check on you if you're lucky, and once to pay. Can't quite figure out the other people's high ratings.. other than they must not get out much. Nothing special here.

Walk in to the 1970's decor. There are no loud music or jangly sounds reflecting off hard surfaces. Love it. Best of all is fabulous, exceeds-your-expectations food. Dim sum buns and dumplings and appetizers are the best in town and there is a lot of competition.

Get the soup dumplings, they are great. My husband loves the Mai Tai. The waitress/bartender is always friendly.

I'm calibrating my review based on the Maine standards of Chinese takeout which are honestly appalling. I have ordered beef and broccoli at chinese takeout joints across the country. I always order the same dish for the sake of quality control investigation purposes. Like johnny Depp in once upon a time in Mexico.
This is not the worst I have ever had but that's about all that can be said for it. The sauce was thin, murky and seafood smelling. Too much water, not enough cornstarch and far too much fish sauce compensating for the lack of high quality soy sauce most likely. Broccoli was overcooked because of too much water.
The beef was actually pretty good, Properly tenderized. Included soy sauce packets were disgusting. Rice was acceptable. Somewhat overcooked.
My girlfriend ordered the sesame chicken; Extremely disturbing and the less said about it the better. Eat here with low expectations.

RACIST. If you're not White, steer clear of this place. We walked in, the place was EMPTY and had two parties of two or three people that were preparing to leave. No one at the bar. We were seated, but then left sitting at our table for 5-10 mins as if the place was packed. In walks a White guy with his son and they're seated behind us. The waitress walked around to the other side of the restaurant to avoid me, my wife and daughter and went to the white guy and his son and took their order...THEN HAD THE NERVE to come to our table to take our order. What did we do??? WE GOT UP AND WALKED OUT. ZERO STARS. THAT'S MY REVIEW. IF YOU'RE NOT CAUCASIAN, STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

Tried to order food within an hour of closing. Someone answered, asked for my order, I said 1 out of 3 items she asked for me to hold only for the call to hang up. I tried calling 6 more times and even used my partner's phone to try and call them. The phone would immediately go to voice-mail. They must not want my money within an hour of closing.
