Great experience with delicious Gelato, pastries and coffee in this little shop off of main street. Make the trip to this little shop because it is worth the walk. There is only 1 table outside large enough for 2 but plenty of seating inside for those who want to rest for a bit and enjoy a little break.

There are four gelato/ice cream spots within a couple of blocks in Old Port. Gorgeous Gelato is across the street from Gelato Fiasco, Beals Ice Cream is around the corner. We went all three. Had the house chocolate at Gelato Fiasco, delicious. Had the dark chocolate at Gorgeous Gelato also delicious, had chocolate ice cream at Beals. Both gelatos are great but I give a slight edge to Gorgeous. Beals is ice cream, it's good but doesn't rank with gelato.

We continued our gelato tasting at Gorgeous gelato. I appreciated the ability to try a few flavors, before selecting chocolate. It was rich and delicious. I typically like scoops with a variety of sour and sweet flavors. like chocolate and a sour flavor like lemon or pineapple. All flavors I have tried were on the sweet side, so I stick with just the chocolate.

Was looking for some gelato options nearby. Based on the reviews, I was originally tempted by the spot across the street, but my friend insisted we try this one instead. Turned out to be one of the best gelatos I’ve had in a while.
First off, the texture. Living in New England, I’m used to getting ice cream from local dairies and creameries, so I forgot how different real gelato could be. This was super silky and soft, yet dense with that subtle elasticity that melts slowly and luxuriously on the tongue. It does melt quickly, but they nailed the balance. They allow two flavor trials per person, and I ended up going with Pistachio and Torta Paradiso.
Pistachio – Always a safe bet. Super smooth, deeply nutty, and not overly sweet. Based on how little was left in the case, it seemed to be everyone’s go-to.
Torta Paradiso – Essentially a rich, subtly sweet milk cream flavor. I’ve only had the actual cake version twice before, but this was almost a perfect replica.
Gorgeous – Their signature flavor, but my least favorite. Still solid, but tasted like a denser version of the Torta Paradiso with chocolate chips mixed in.

The girls behind the counter were nice, the gelato was mediocre at best, the guy (owner) is a total jerk & disrespectful . He couldn't admit that the drip coffee was old and nasty, would not issue a refund or offer to brew a new pot. Stay away from this dump. My son when in to ask for a refund, he was dumping and scrubbing the coffee pot, classic jerk!!! THERE IS A BETTER GELATO ESTABLISHMENT ACROSS THE STREET!!!!!
Update: I am only adding an update because the owner replied to my review. It's easy for him to preach positive vibes when he is the one who angrily told the worker not to remake my coffee or issue a refund with his old coffee..

Best Gelato I’ve ever had! I’ve been to a few different places but none even compare. I had the Hazelnut and Sea Salt Caramel and they were mouth watering. My bf had Maine Wild Blueberry and Oreo and we almost went back for more that night! Eagerly waiting for Boston Creme to come back so I can try it!!
i tried a couple flavors and they had a very artificial strange taste.. they had clearly labeled options and a sign outside stating vegan friendly but workers didn't know if their cones were vegan. i would stick with gelato fiasco across the street
