Wow! What a surprise Great Wave Sushi was earlier today! The sushi was absolutely delicious. A really nice spin on traditional sushi. Kudos to Chef Alexander Herzog, and team. Even though I'm here for a short time this trip, I will likely go back for more! I highly recommend Great Wave Sushi, wherever they may be. It looks like their website calendar shows their current location. Enjoy!

I could eat Great Wave any day of the week. Alex the chef is truly impressive and so friendly. He works so hard and that work shines through with delicious food. The sushi burger never disappoints and the spicy tuna rice bowl hit the spot. We also tried the tuna sashimi for the first time last night and it was perfect. The portions are big and his creations are innovative without being overly played out fusion.

We met Alex from ‘Great Wave Sushi’ for the first time today at Austin Street- so very friendly and although we got here too late to try this amazing looking treat, we ordered the last item left- the Poke Nachos- AMAZING! Will definitely be back earlier the next time! I can see why he sells out!

This place was hands down INCREDIBLE. My boyfriend and I got sushi burgers the size of our heads and they were just overflowing with fresh ingredient goodness. This guy deserves an award!!! Thank you for the best meal we’ve had since moving to Maine.
