We had the king oyster mushroom tempura, Pad Thai, and the pineapple brown rice. All three were amazing, and some of the best food that we've had, and we love to try out new vegan restaurants. Service was also great, and searing was quick. Updated from previous review on 2025-07-05
im happy i got to stop here after a long bus ride to portland. brussels, thai iced tea, and chinese broccoli dish were all very delicious.
Great food and service. Very clean and friendly
We got take out due to a busy schedule but the restaurant is lovely and inviting. The Pad Thai made vegan (without egg) was really satisfying with flavorful tofu chunks. We also tried the dumplings and I would order both again.
Delicious delicious delicious and amazing staff
Food so good you are more than willing to brave Portland's hellish landscape of one-way streets and potholes big enough to hide said elephant.
I got one of my hubcaps stolen off my car, and I didn’t even care.
That's how good the mother flippin' food is.
Went to pick up some elephant ham to go with my green eggs, but they did not have any. False advertising. Good noodles tho.
We took a long driving trip thru the New England coastal area all the way up to Maine. One of the many overnight stops we made was Portland. We researched this restaurant before we left home and it was better than expected. We ordered several dishes at lunch and we shared all.
Very nice.
Came for a quick dinner and the deep fried spring rolls and stir fried vegetables with tofu were to die for! Even my non-vegan partner said it had very good flavor. Exceeded my expectations
As two Omnis and two vegans we pitched up at 6pm on a Friday night (no reservations) and were told to expect an hour wait for a table, no problems. The wait was worth it with no shadow of a doubt. Everybody enjoyed their food and the service was friendly and efficient. Sorry no photos! But we’d return in a heartbeat.

Always fresh and delicious
Great for vegans!
Wow this food was so good I've never had soy meat before and it was really good. I recommend the dumplings and the Thai fried rice
The food was delicious, the place was very busy, yet staff was very friendly and helpful, vegan options are clearly marked. We enjoyed the Fragrant Coconut, Banana Curry and stir fried Asian vegetables, Sorbet Trio was great too.
Phad tai and tofu tikka masala were delicous! Fast service!
