Good beer, lots to choose from.
Lovely atmosphere/ sports bar-esque food selection was good for bar food, cider was good! Service was good, although I had the pulled pork for dinner around 7pm and hadn’t eaten since breakfast, 45 minutes later my stomach starts
Churning, hot flashes, and gas and belching. I feel like maybe the pork could have been off? Either way I’d come back lol
The food here is SOOO good and well priced! The best clam chowder I have had! The staff were so lovely too! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Welcoming and friendly, attentive and efficient wait staff, good draft beer, very good Pub Mac and Cheese with fried chicken, big portions, small patio area outside lower floor.
Rather small portion relative to price. Cottage pie.
Wings were ok. Curds were good but again, expensive considering the portion.
The staff are so attentive and top notch! Unfortunate not the greatest lobster roll of my life.
Great place for a Beer and Munchies. Easy going great service. Quiet and Friendly. Local spot with a great vide. Stop in and have one to avoid the hustle and bustle!!!!!! Great service !!!!
Was in Portland for a work conference. Had to find a place where my non-vegan co-workers would eat or I could also have something more than a salad. I had the tofu teriyaki sandwich and it was fantastic
Great beer selection. Service was great, even in private room where we had 150+ people.
Overpriced and bad quality. The food here is pre-made/pre-packaged and thrown into a microwave. You can tell by the quality and flavor. My mashed potatoes taste store bought and were COLD IN THE MIDDLE. The Clam Chowder was completely forgettable which is a disgrace considering this restaurant is in Maine.
The lamb burger was good but the French Dip sandwich tastes no different than a deli cold cut sandwich, and the dip was generic.
Not a place I would recommend at $40+ per person to sit and eat!!!!
Go somewhere else! Trust.

Great service and nice atmosphere. Our loaded nachos with chicken were nowhere near worth $27. We felt totally ripped off. We really thought hey, why not? They’re probably really really good. They weren’t.

I have been coming to Gritty's since it first opened. Whether it was social or business I've always had a fab experience. And if course..... GREAT brews!
There are much better places to go to in Portland. The clam chowder, chili and lamb burger was good. The Shepards pie, was NOT. They serve it in a cereal bowl. I asked for no sour cream on the chili, it came out with sour cream. Service was terrible all around! Had to ask 3x for water, took forever for drinks to come and to get more....very disappointed to say the least. The sink in the women's bathroom didn't work!
