I like that the interior is a bit run down. This place is always good and reasonably priced.

Great service and the food is delicious. The naan is very fluffy and generous. The level 4 spice is not overly spicy but if you mix up the sauce you will find it's on the bottom a bit. Overall fantastic meal.Vegetarian options: Huge vegetarian selection.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free friendly and clearly marked.

Food is amazingly good. I had the house special biryani. The portion was ridiculous! It was moist and very flavorful and the raita was perfect to tone down the extra spiciness I asked for. The aloo nan was giant and delicious. Looking forward to trying other dishes in the future. Just what I needed. Very nice flavor!

Hi Bombay has been in Portland before most Portlanders have been here. It's got good Indian cuisine, but really can't compare with other out of state venues. I go there once a year because it's been loyal to Portland, so I'm loyal to it. Now that I'm moving north out of Portland, the new Portlanders might not show it the love because it's not fresh or nouveau. But, I've found a new place in Brunswick called Shere Punjab...I highly recommend it.
Bland Indian food. Sadly I really had high hopes. Extremely overpriced. Anyone I feel gives this place hugh stars has never had proper Indian food. Also double the cost almost than any larger city Indian restaurant Ordered 3 dishes. Spent 75 dollars! 2 were vegetarian. They tasted like they were Cambells tomato soup. No spices, an hardly anything to them. Mostly a broth/sauce. Very disappointed

Cute and cozy Indian restaurant with delicious chai (pre-sweetened and on the slightly sweet end of where I like it but very good). The almond naan is different, delicious and adds a nuttyness to everything. The aloo mutter is delicious!

Fantastic Indian food. I have been here twice now while traveling for work and it is my go-to for Indian in the area. Last night I ordered quite a feast for one. I started with a mango lassi. It was thick, delicious, and mango-y and came out in a nice cup. For a starter I got the Onion Bhaji. These were crispy, delicious fried onion fritters with a tasty seasoning on them that came out with the three standard chutneys for dipping/topping. I also got a plain naan to have with my meal which was warm, buttery, and quite large. For my main entree I got the Murg Malabar. This was a fansastic coconut curry. I got a 5 on the spice scale (out of 10), and it was right where I had hoped it would be. It was a delectable warm dinner on a cold winter night. The inside is pretty standard, they play a nice mix of modern/older music and the service was kind and quick. I couldnt recommend this place enough for someone looking for some great Indian food in the area.

This place is a ROBBERY. I ordered $180 worth of food takeout and was so embarrassed and sad to see the sizing of the portions. Paying $23 for a curry to get a tiny Chinese food container worth? It literally had 6 pieces of small cubes of lamb, the rest was all gravy, and THAT was 23??? The naans are huge but for it to be $8? 2 samosas for $8?? Maybe I'm biased because I come from NY and the Indian food there may he expensive BUT their portions speak for themselves. Personally I would just eat somewhere else, and save indian food for another place that isn't robbing their customers. I would be absolutely ashamed to charge that much for such little food. ? if you're not filling up in the bread and the rice, don't expect a entree to be an adult size entre.. maybe if ur 10 or 13, but definitely not enough for an adult. I'm so sad that I wasted almost 200 for barely any food. Will never be ordering again. Altho their food can be tasty, it really doesn't justify the childlike portions.
