Went for the comics against humanity night. Had a wonderful time, drinks were good and affordable, tasting room was clean and had a great environment. Highly recommend the Gunpowder Eye.

Great beers with amazing small plate food offerings. The owners are some of my favorite people in the Portland beer scene

This was the final spot on our trip before we separated from our Boston friends after an awesome October weekend and they headed home. So glad this could be the last experience together, as it was a relaxing, inviting bar experience. The bartender/owner was super chill and the beers/cocktails we tried were all excellent. The vibes were perfect - had a great time.

You’re missing out if you’re not there on Monday open mike night. The beer is right on!! The rice and beans (add the sausage) is delish. Trust all the positive reviews. Truly a hidden gem. Thank you for a great evening. Owners/bartenders are fantastic

Eccentric place with excellent beers and service.

Amazing beer, food, drinks, entertainment... this place has it all. Seriously the rice and beans alone for $5 bucks might be the best deal for food in the city, maybe state.

We hit up a bunch of breweries while in town for a long weekend. Happened into Hi-Fidelity at the end of a weeknight as they were one of the few breweries open late (1am, when many close at 9pm). Located amongst some other really great breweries they've got some stiff competition. Feels like they're just getting their legs though. Not sure how long they've been around but I'm guessing not very. Ambience was a bit meh, felt sad and lonely. But that's a late week day I guess. Beer was so so. Only a handful of beers on tap. One of them was a beer they labelled "Lo-Fi", which was described as "this batch of beer turned out bad, so were offering it a half price". We tasted it, truth be told they should have just dumped it :/ The red ale was good. I'm a fan of "give 'em a shot" so I'm not saying to pass on this brewery. Give it a try and see if you like it if you have the time. You'll surely be in this area if you're looking for good beer. But if you're a bit short on time... *shrugs*. I wish them he best though, hopefully they refine the beer, increase the selection, build out the location a bit more.

Lured in by multiple rave reviews of red beans and rice…we’re from New Orleans so we had to try them. They’re not traditional, but well seasoned and super tasty!! Would definitely recommend! Hope the owner buys Dante some dinner for being such an awesome and friendly bartender!

Delicious sandwiches and I love that you can pick your bread choice!!! Haven't had a bad sandwich yet. Delectable donuts with fun flavors to try. Staff are very sweet and goof for a laugh. Excellent way to start the day!
