The staff at Hilltop Superette have turned the little neighborhood convenience store at the top of Munjoy Hill into a destination spot for incredible food, beverages, and a personable experience. For lunch today, I ordered their grilled chicken pesto sandwich and I have to say, I haven't had better anywhere else in this city. Last week I was running behind, it was lunchtime and I could hear my stomach rumbling. I didn’t have time to sit down in a restaurant or wait in any of those long lines in the old port. As I was driving from the eastern promenade I saw a car pull out of a space right in front of the Hilltop Superette. I pulled into the space went inside and was greatly surprised at how clean and the extensive selection of products. I ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich from the friendly staff...

Hilltop Superette is the best. One stop shop and it’s always buzzing with happy regulars. Love it here! I always get a breakfast sandwich on an English muffin or the breakfast burrito in the morning. As far as late night munchies go I love their frozen pizza and they usually have a good selection of beer or wine to go with it!
