So happy I had the chance to stop by this place. Bartender was super friendly, great drink specials, and the hoagie was, by far, one of the best I’ve ever had!

Best local bar you'll ever encounter!! The best, most attentive bartenders you'll find anywhere. Great hang spot! Also they have Salvadors hoagies being sold out of their bar. Best hoagies/grinders/subs/italians...whatever you wanna call them! Go here!

Local neighborhood bar. A Staple in the community. The original owner Howie sold it after having it for decades but, the name still stands!

Bartender has got serious problems. Went in today for a beer after work. I’m 24, and don’t look very old, but the bartender looked at my ID for not even 5 seconds, and snapped it in half and told me it’s fake. I live in Maine and have a Maine ID. Never had an issue like this. Now I have a broken ID and likely can’t get a beer anywhere until I go to BMV to get a new ID. Howies Pub owes me a new ID. I will be filing a police report if I don’t get a response.

Howies is a great neighborhood bar. You feel at home and everyone is nice and welcoming there. There are no cliques or gangs or people that would look you up and down, it's just a great place to hangout for a couple drinks and catch up with friends. The plus side is Salvatore's hoagies has a home there Thursday - Sunday and we try to get a hoagie on a weekly visit! You have to get everything! We haven't had a bad meal or a disappointment!
