Excellent experience for a team building lunch. Our waitress was fantastic and the hibachi chef did amazing. Thank you to the entire staff for being so accommodating and for making great food.

Hibachi was entertaining but kinda loud and the food wasn't very good. If we come back again, we will try the dining room instead of hibachi.

Great experience, everyone enjoyed their food. We did not book the hibachi however we could see it from where we were seated may want to try that next time!

I absolutely LOVE Kon. They have a huge selection of foods. I go often and can honestly say that I have never been disappointed. Their food (including sushi and sashimi) is excellent! They also make an excellent espresso martini! The staff is super friendly. I have certain places where I prefer to sit and they are always accommodating. The only issue I have is that I always want more food than I can eat. That's how good it is. My latest obsession is the Thai spicy chicken wings...I love them! If you sit near the hibachi room it can be a little noisy on a busy night but it's not bad. It's just people having a good time. If you want to sit further away just let them know but you must experience the hibachi at least once.

It was a good experience. Our server was great, the food was great. The downside was that our table was along the direct path to and from the hibachi room. So I felt like there was a constant parade of people, many of whom simply stared at us as they walked by. Of course this isn't anything Kon could change without installing a separate entrance to the hibachi room.

The Hibachi experience was amazing and you are well fed. Overall wonderful experience but was a bit on the pricey side.

Amazing!! Hibachi chef was awesome and funny! Due to it being New Year's Eve it was pretty busy and reservation was a little late but made up for it with free apps!! Thank you so much will definitely be coming back!

I have ordered take out from Kon Asian Bistro three or four times over the last several years and have only experienced consistent quality and generous portions - you know what to expect and this place always delivers.

At the take out counter/ maitre d' stand, I have been greeted and helped by Meg who is just a phenomenal person and the perfect face to represent this establishment and make you feel welcome.

This weekend, I dined in for the first time and was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by Meg who put us in the care of the spectacular waitress, Jerri.

Jerri was charismatic and personable! She was also incredibly knowledgeable in respect to the menu and drink options. She checked in with us multiple times to make sure our meal and experience was beyond satisfactory. Jerri was awesome and provided top notch service and conversational skills.

I couldn't speak higher of this establishment or the wonderful people who work there. 11/10, would recommend to anyone.

I was incredibly disappointed with our experience at Kon. We went for my daughter’s 21st birthday, expecting the great service and show we normally experience at hibachi restaurants. At the beginning of the reservation, they were having issues with the POS system however; the personality, promptness and service shouldn’t have suffered because of this issue. Our party was entirely there one minute prior to our reservation time, we were told no drinks from the bar unless you were sitting at the bar and there was no place to sit wait, it took 26 minutes to sit at our table. No one came to take drink orders for another twenty minutes. When they finally came to take a food order (which they write on paper anyway) the waitress was rude, one member of our party was talking to friends, she told us she’d have to leave and not take any orders if we weren’t all ready right then. The hibachi chefs showed up at 7:38, an hour and thirty eight minutes after our reservation and it was the least engaging show I’ve seen. Some of the older members of the crew really struggled to stay awake without food until so late, which was why we chose six anyway. One of the worst parts, the yum yum sauce wasn’t yummy! It smelled and tasted like it was primarily Dijon mustard.
Hibachi generally is a quick meal, good food and good show. I love hibachi, have been to most of the hibachi restaurants in Maine and I would highly recommend for a good experience, don’t go to this one.

A lot of fun at the hibachi bar. You can also get regular table service if you are not feeling adventurous. Definitely will be a regular.

Parking: Easy to get to. It's a plus it's not in downtown
