Not a restaurant, but a lobster boat tour. There is a cool kids book created by the captain/owner. I can't believe there are not more reviews on this, lots of fun we have done a ride each of the last few trips to Portland. Kid friendly, and very educational. You learn how to make bait bags, retrieve and reset traps, how to tell male from female lobsters and other ins and outs of the lobster industry. Lots of maritime history as well. You can even buy lobsters on the boat at the end (cash only I believe).

My husband and I booked this experience not realizing how truly fun and informational it would be! We got to bait lobster traps, push a trap in the water, and learn about lobster conservation. At the end we got to purchase our lobsters and take them over for dinner at Portland Lobster Co. This experience is a MUST if you visit Portland.

Allowed us to be involved with baiting traps and measuring the lobster and many other tasks. We took our lobsters to eat at Portland lobster co nearby and they were delicious! Would highly recommend lucky catch cruises!

Terrific experience. We had a great time. The crew made sure everyone participated in all the lobstering activities and gave us some great education as well. Eating the fresh-caught lobsters immediately afterwards capped it off beautifully. I would HIGHLY recommend!

It's really fun for all to help pull in traps, bag bait, and hold lobster. The crew is very friendly and kind. It's a lobster boat, so I don't know why Google lists it under food category. There's no food service. It's a boat tour.
