Nothing overly special to me personally. The food was good but not great and the interior design of the restaurant could use some work. Nothing worth repeating.

Super fun vibe, with a simple menu. We got both the gyudon and the takoyaki and both were delicious and really well executed!

Good and quick service, however food was VERY SALTY, particularly the Soborodon and Gyudon, and all the portions were very small.

It’s okay. It smells good. The photo was taken after the meal. I forgot to take it. It‘s just a little too much ginger. In addition, the soup ramen seems to be special or limited. Call to ask for the suggestion of soup ramen (have fried ramen). Recommended seafood cake ☺️

Pretty decent Japanese food in Maine. Gotta give them props on the place.

Went out for an office lunch and picked Mami for the first time and very glad that we did. The service was very friendly, we got there as soon as they opened and there was no issue with making food for a decent sized group.
The food was very reasonably priced and very tasty and enjoyable, and varied enough from other restaurants to definitely make Mami worth a visit.

Had the taki onigiri and it was really good! Filling of the day was bbq meat and the chili crisp top had a great kick.
Great spot! Specials were amazing

We found Mami just walking thru Old Port in Portland Maine, and it was the cutest hole in the wall place!! We ended up getting the special which was this miso ramen when we went and it was AMAZING! We also got the pork bun appetizer and it was equally just incredible! Loved it all and the service was great too!!!

One word. Phenomenal. I got the Katsu Sando sandwich and it did not disappoint. Truly one of the best things I have ever put in my mouth. I also got the Age Nasu as an appetizer and it was absolutely delicious. If you’re looking to support a local business while also looking to eat some amazing food check this place out!

Had the pork katsu bowl; so good!
A must try, really creative and tasty food. Staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly. Portion sizes were big. Make sure to get the fried chicken, seems simple but it was something else.
Awesome people and place. Great vibe and affordable food with great flavor
Love going there every time I visit Portland. The pork belly is excellent 😋
