One of our favorite spots when we come to Portland for vacation. It's got the speakeasy vibe and their old fashioned is delicious.
I want to rate her high, but I don't want everyone stealing one of my favorite spots! But the owners deserve the credit! Go!!

In town for a short trip, stopped in for a quick drink, and immediately loved the vibe. We took our time exploring the space. Very cool. Vinyl spinning on the turntable, vintage maps displayed throughout. Very unique and thoughtfully decorated venue.

Love this place. Fair priced drinks and the food hits the spot.
Absolutely love this place. They have one of the best bartenders in town, Emma. I’d go just for her even if the drinks and vibe of this place sucked. Butttt luckily they don’t, so if stays worth being a spot to keep at the top of my list

Love Portland and always jump at the opportunity to visit, this place will forever be at the top of my list to stop in. A year and a half later and I'm still thinking back to listening to Amanaz while eating cake and drinking scotch on my birthday.

Little bar hidden right near the old port it was pretty lowkey and they were playing good music from a record player (bunch of records can be seen behind the bar). The cake was incredible, very moist and delicious and the drinks were great as well

If you’re thinking about spending your evening at a different Portland bar… wait. They won’t love you like Maps loves you.

Lovely atmosphere with a decor dedicated to all sorts of interesting maps. Also the bartender playing vinyl records is a lovely touch.

We had a brief one night stop on our Maine roadtrip. Asked recommendations about local beer place in our dinner spot The Highroller Lobster. Girl pointed to the Maps. We had one beer each, but the bartender knew milliliters (which is odd and great at the same time). The Commodores LP was spinning and fullfilling Tuesday's eve experience. I am from Lithuania, so I did not liked the map with soviet union, even I understand this is a piece of history, but it should be hanging in restroom or somewhere in less respectful place. Great beer and atmosphere overall.
This is a great bar but the music was deafening so I'll take my weak ears elsewhere, at least they played good music. Cozy lil pub that sells beer and mixies. The beer is cheap and the water is free (that's how you know they've dealt with the booze dogs).
Awesome place! Great drink selection and ambiance.

Maps was hands down one of the best parts of our recent Portland trip. We happened to stumble in during bingo, which was super fun to participate in. The atmosphere inside was inviting, cozy, and relaxed and everyone was having a great time. The drinks and beers we had were stellar and the menu had more options than I anticipated. Next time we're in Portland, we'll be back.
