Lovely atmosphere with a decor dedicated to all sorts of interesting maps. Also the bartender playing vinyl records is a lovely touch.

We had a brief one night stop on our Maine roadtrip. Asked recommendations about local beer place in our dinner spot The Highroller Lobster. Girl pointed to the Maps. We had one beer each, but the bartender knew milliliters (which is odd and great at the same time). The Commodores LP was spinning and fullfilling Tuesday's eve experience. I am from Lithuania, so I did not liked the map with soviet union, even I understand this is a piece of history, but it should be hanging in restroom or somewhere in less respectful place. Great beer and atmosphere overall.

This is a great bar but the music was deafening so I'll take my weak ears elsewhere, at least they played good music. Cozy lil pub that sells beer and mixies. The beer is cheap and the water is free (that's how you know they've dealt with the booze dogs).

Maps was hands down one of the best parts of our recent Portland trip. We happened to stumble in during bingo, which was super fun to participate in. The atmosphere inside was inviting, cozy, and relaxed and everyone was having a great time. The drinks and beers we had were stellar and the menu had more options than I anticipated. Next time we're in Portland, we'll be back.

awesome grilled cheese sandwiches and pretzels. wish we could have stayed for more. This place is a bit of a hidden gem. They need to advertise those cheese sandwiches better. Will definitely return next time I'm in town.

I dig dive bars, so if it is underground or back an alley and I spy it, I am probably diving in. Maps was underground and chill. Bartender was great and playing DJ changing records behind the bar. Throwback decor and fun to stare at. Menu was fun but we only stopped in for a drink. Great afternoon visit!

Terrible experience very dark space . 3 guys behind the bar that saw us sitting in one of the booths. I guess they couldn’t be bothered. So we waited 10 minutes or so an then left. We walked next door to the Thirsty Pig then and had a great experience!!

Neat place with a hipster/speak easy vibe. Nicely decorated with all kinds of maps, music on vinyl playing. Small but fun place to xheck out.
