Every time I've been here over the years two things have been consistent - great fried clams and the friendliest service. The folks that run it are classic new englanders but without the harsh edges. They all clearly care about the food they serve. My only gripes are minor, I'd prefer hand-cut better French fries and I don't love the onion ring. That being said, I do appreciate them doing a unique take on the onion ring and even though I don't like the thick crunchy breadcrumby coating as much as the classic flour-only recipe, it's admittedly delicious and I often get an order on the side.

I'm from Baltimore, Maryland, where we think Old Bay is king. Let me tell you that these scallops were the best I've ever had. What a jewel in the rough. This firecracker scallop dish should be served in all of the top restaurants! Fantastic! Do not judge the place by the storefront!

The reviews did not fail me on this one. We wanted to find a place to eat outside of the tourist traps and ran across this place. Good reviews and pictures got us in the door but the food and friendly service will keep us coming back. They are generous with the portion sizes which is a treat for the area. The food was amazing. Beware if you have a shellfish allergy like I do and let them know before ordering anything. They accommodated me and will surely do the same for you. Definitely coming back here. Got 2 fish tacos here and a cup of clam chowder. The fish tacos were HUGE and I like that the fish batter was very light and crispy. However the tacos lacked flavor, I found myself wanting to sprinkle salt constantly while eating. I did like the sauces they provided in squeeze bottles though. The clam chowder was thinner than other clam chowders I've had and was good but not memorable. I like this shop because it's no frills and focuses on the seafood. So I'll def come back when I'm in Portland.

This place knocked it out of the park. Service was an easy 6 out of 5 and the food was as well. I had the lobster roll with fries on the side. Don't waste your time with the other places that spend big money on advertising, news coverage. Etc only to deliver a sub par product. Miller Brothers Seafood will exceed your expectations for both their food and genuine, hospitable service.

Go there have a great no frills meal. Stick a pin in the map and tell them where you are from. But you better hurry, they are closing for winter soon!

This place is the absolute best!!!!! We popped in because I was getting hangry after many hours in the car...the yelp reviews couldn't be more on point. Together with my husband we ordered the MB platter (and then we added onion rings). O M G -- this thing was massive. We're both big eaters, but this thing took us down. The fish was fresh and juicy, the shrimp were huge and perfectly cooked...the scallops which were my favorite were absolute perfection...and my husband loved the clams (they're just not my thing). The onion rings.....I can't even put into words how good they are. The service was EXTREMELY friendly and pretty fast!! We sat out on one of the picnic tables and they brought the dog some water :) Everything was just so fantastic....I need to go back ASAP.

Great food, fast friendly service. Parking in back of the restaurant, Forest Ave is a very busy road. Small place only 4 tables inside, Picnic tables outside. Stopped for lunch, everything was excellent.
