Mixed feelings. The bagels are very good, but small, and expensive. 2 toasted bagels with cream cheese was $11.50, which seems high to me. In the Boston area, most dedicated bagel shops serve a noticeably larger bagel for a little less. I'm new to this area, so I don't have a local point for comparison yet, except for Dunkin' whose bagels are larger and less expensive, but not as good, although they are not horrible, as they once were. Other than that, the people seemed nice enough, and the service was fast, and the amount of cream cheese was quite adequate. I was slightly disappointed that they did not have fresh iced tea. They only had the bottled kind, which I don't like much.

This location is great! The staff are very pleasant and very helpful!!! They immediately acknowledge you when you walk in. They are fully staffed with extra people taking orders and making the food! The gentleman working the register was very helpful with me in selection a drink. He went over several options and talked my wife into one of the RedBull concoctions which was Superb! We love they have treats for our 2 dogs, which loved their bread bones by the way! We will be back here very soon!

owners are the most down to earth people, their bagels are the best in the world, truly! such a phenomenal experience. met them in nashville and knew i needed to make a trip to maine just for them ❤️ so glad I did! (I had the french toast bagel.... wow!!!)
I went for the first time this morning and… good god, this place is FANTASTIC! Amazing food and service, and the vibes are IMPECCABLE. My only complaint is that I didn’t go sooner, but that’s on me!

Bunch of little teenagers yelling, laughing about forgetting peoples orders and their friends hanging out distracting the employees. Employees friends honking at us for absolutely no reason. Get these kids in check please. I absolutely love the food but after this morning I will be weary about coming back as there is great food options on every corner in Portland. Look at her clap back at everyone that leaves a bad review. That there people is how unprofessional this establishment is. Reviews are here to warn others. No need to call an tell ya what you already know. Sounds like your a child too.

Get the kids in check. Absolutely horrendous interactions this morning at this Mr. bagel. High schools kids working and forgetting every order. Laughing at each other for forgetting orders completely. I had to ask to be helped. 2 were working and 2 were actually yelling back and forth with their buddy that thinks he owns the world. Previous bad reviews are absolutely on point 1000% Unfortunately the owner likes to clap back with rude comments and doesn't take pride in serving the Portland community. Plenty of options in Portland other than this sad excuse of a breakfast place. Do better and teach these little kids that this is real life and paying customers appreciate to be acknowledged and tended to in a timely manner.
