I came in to buy half a dozen bagels and they legit wouldn’t sell them to me. “We need them for lunch.” Lmao. Mr. Bagel doesn’t sell bagels. Only mediocre sandwiches and poor customer service. Cringiest bagel experience of my life.

Bagels are hard and dry. Tastes like they were baked days ago. Workers were also rude

I hadn't had a bagel in years and was really looking forward to having one, it kinda let me down. They toasted it without asking, I don't usually get them toasted, if the bagel is fresh it shouldn't need toasting. Not sure if that was it but definitely not as good as I remember, and for $6.00 I probably will not be getting another anytime soon. The service was great.

I just started working downtown, and for my first day I grabbed an Asiago bagel with jalapeño cream cheese and it was outstanding! The bagel was chewy and flavorful and the cream cheese was perfectly spicy. I'll have to try one of the sandwiches next time, but this bagel was a strong start to my day!

Closed on the weekends in town is l bizzare. I’ve seen so many people just walk up to the door & be disappointed. Atleast have Saturday or Sunday open for the locals

I just moved to Portland about a month ago and I’ve had the opportunity to visit Mister Bagel twice now. Both times I was blown away by how delicious the bagels are- truly among the best I’ve eaten in my life. Being a NYC bagel girl, I find myself to be a bit of a bagel snob and Mister Bagel tops them all.Apart from the delicious bagels, the service is fast and friendly and the shop is warm and inviting with good music, plus the prices are very reasonable for Portland. The staff is so kind and were so great at making me feel welcome in my new city.Pictured in this review was my delicious bacon egg and cheese on a sesame bagel, however I have previously had a bagel with their cream cheese and that was equally as delicious.

Stopped for a coffee and blueberry bagel bright and early. As soon as you walk in the door you smell fresh bread and see smiling faces. Food and service was great. I grabbed mine to go, but there are spots to sit down and enjoy a nice breakfast.

Amazing place for a quick bite. Fast and amicable service.Their coffee is amazing, baguels are ok -new yorkers stay away- and the chicken feta wrap for lunch won’t disappoint you.Leave the fancy expectations away, there are other places around for that -at the double of the cost- and enjoy a local soulful place.

I love mr. Bagel, I go there as many times as I can, and I really appreciate the staff who are always friendly and caring. They make it worthwhile to come back time and time again with their wholesome attitude and menu to matchI find the customers that frequent this shop to be a reflection of the staff that operates it having a great sense of humor practicing the art often challenged on this world of ours called " FRIENDSHIP "I am grateful to the staff and owner for the opportunity to help make their world better.
