Absolutely delicious, and filled with little surprise details. Simple dishes with great depth and complexity. Not your average Thai spot. Service is impeccable and genuinely hospitable. My new favorite place.

Absolute best hole in the wall in Portland. We’ve tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. This has to be your next date night spot!

We just got take out and it’s sooo good! Don’t skip over this place. Be mindful with the stars if you’re sensitive to spice, they don’t hold back (which I love but others may not). Make sure to grab a Thai iced tea, it’s the best one I’ve ever had and the mango sticky rice is a great treat! We can’t wait to come here to dine in sometime soon.

Mitr Krapow Pork belly is something I could die for? It was served traditionally with fried egg and pik nam pa. Friendly staff. Small and cozy dining space.

I was quite excited to try Mitr having read the good press. I had the chicken wings, Pad Thai with Shrimp and Red Curry with Chicken. I had takeout which I understand is not the same as having a fresh meal at the table in the restaurant itself. The wings were ok but would have been better fresh Im sure. The Pad Thai was not very flavourful and this felt like a recipe issue. The Red Curry redeemed the meal though and was very tasty indeed. I'll look forward to coming in for a sit-down meal soon and raising the review to a 5, which easily seems in reach.

They offer some dishes and drinks you can't find at mostt other Thai restaurants in New England. The sauces are and meats are especially good. The tamarind line soda, I highly recommend and they make their own northern style sausages.

The food is great!! I love their Ma Kham Wings and recommend this dish. We also got grilled chicken combo, loved the chicken, and purple sticky rice, a nice touch. Definitely planing to visit again if you are in the area. ?
