No fuss, all quality. An unassuming and easy to miss location within the Public Markethouse, Mr. Tuna offers a well rounded menu of sushi: hand rolls, maki, combos, and more. Very casual and quick so it’s perfect for when you get that insatiable craving for sushi. The quality of fish is some of the best I’ve had in Portland, and at this price point and chilled environment, returning here is a no brainer.

Great quality fish, though you're paying for said quality.

The best sushi in Portland by a very wide margin.

Ordered 3 hand rolls to go. The fish was very good, but the nori comes wrapped in plastic wrappers that cause the roll to fall apart before it can be eaten. Tasty and high quality fish, but not very much of it for the price and a very messy experience.

First time at Mr. Tuna stopped in for lunch. Customer service was excellent the variety of entrees were plentiful. The food was fresh and delicious. The Miso Soup was good not too salty. The sushi was a little on the small side compared to other sushi places in town but delicious.Regarding the ambiance the restaurant is simple and shares space with another restaurant. If you’re wanting good food in a simple dining space Mr. Tuna is definitely a great choice!!

You order through a website, so there is no real table service. I like part of my order. The spicy salmon roll had a weird texture and taste unlike and salmon roll I had in the past. It was kinda slimy. I liked the other rolls better.

Go somewhere else if you’re really hungry and want to put away a large volume of food. This establishment makes me think of a tasting menu rather than a full meal. So keep that in mind when you visit this unassuming spot inside Public Market House. At first glance, the portions are really TINY. You’d almost think that it’s on the pricey side as a result. But then you take a bite and find yourself ported to another culinary dimension - even if only for a very brief moment. Good things like *these* are almost always NEVER cheap. But there is always a reasoning behind it. What I had here was fresh, prepared well, present in a lovely manner, and more importantly - TASTED ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL.Dangwasittongue-gasmic.Writing this short review makes me want to just skip work for the day and drive right back up for a little bit more.Definitelycan’t waitto visitagain.

The food truck is great, but can't recommend the brick & mortar. Everything is overpriced. I purchased a tuna poke bowl in the "rice bowl" section of their glitchy app. Out came a cup-sized bowl filled to the brim with wet garnishes and a few pieces of tuna; no rice. We looked later, and there was a small "Add Rice +$4" at the bottom of the ordering page that we hadn't even scrolled to before ordering. Must be some amazingly good rice at that price. Disappointed, and they've lost a longtime customer with this one meal.

Amazing! I had to go hunting for the front door because the Maps app did me dirty, but boy, was it worth it! SUCH good sushi! The tuna flight was fab-- legit the real deal! If you are lucky, you will get Lu as your server-- fantastic! Easy to sit down, order from the app, enjoy the view and the people-watching while waiting for some of the best sushi ever!Jordan, the owner, knows what's what. Got the Mr. Tuna roll on Lu's recommendation and had to bring some home because it's huge. They even brew their own soy sauce, and you can actually taste the difference.I think I'm going back tomorrow!

A must if you're in Portland!! Quick and friendly service for a weekday lunch, and the chef was cutting up a huge tuna at the bar area!5/5 Subarashii Toro Don -- so so good! Fish was very good quality, marinated flavor in the tuna and the ikura was incredible!! Absolutely would order again.Hand Rolls -- some hit and misses in our friend group in terms of the flavor combos but would still order these for some variety!
