We had a wonderful experience at N to tails! I had a delicious Mocktail, a Strawberry Paloma and my other half enjoyed a Dracarys with jalapeno infused tequila. We shared a couple of items the menu, starting with the Jalapeno Tempura, we both enjoyed this but wished the sauce with it was a touch spicier. For a second course we shared the KFC Fried Chicken Bao Buns. I highly recommend this dish! It hit the spot and the portion was very generous, 4 buns with some daikon radish. We were seated in the windows and the service was prompt, friendly and professional!! We will be back!
Delicious!
Things have really changed and not for good. Went yesterday the Korean Fried Chicken is horrible now. Lacked taste and was extremely chewy and cold. Service was not what it used to be. Dracarys drink which we always get was absolutely horrid, no spice and tasted like juice.
Korean BBQ at N to Tail is one of my personal favorite experiences in Portland. While cooking your own food at a grill in the center of the table is unorthodox it definitely is very entertaining and makes for a great night. The food they offer is high quality. I personally recommend the pork belly and Kalbi if you're a meat eater. The staff is always pleasant and attentive which always enhances the experienc. The drinks are on par with other dining experiences in Portland, but alcohol is not their focal point which is more than okay. If you're looking for something new I would absolutely recommend checking out N to Tail! 5/5
Cannot give this place enough compliments. We had immaculate service, incredibly flavorful food and cocktails and the atmosphere was wonderful.
Felt a little basementy down in the bbq room, I think I like the upstairs food better but still a great experience and fun and different! My husband loves it! I loved the maple potato banchan a lot!
I've enjoyed N to Tail before, so I thought of them when I was looking for a nice place to take my niece for her birthday. She has a severe nut allergy, and N to Tail was able to reassure me that they are completely nut free. It can be really tough for a kid with a serious food allergy to feel safe and relaxed, so this was a special treat to be able to do. The food was delicious, and the service from Moriyah was excellent- cheerful, patient, and timely. My niece had a blast, thank you N to Tail!
Went to N to Tail the other night. I'm a big fan of Korean food and I got the beef bulgogi for $27 which was priced way too high for what you get. It's about 70% vegetables ( mostly onion, bok choy, and grated carrot pieces) and maybe 6-8 medium sized pieces of meat. You can go to Trader Joes and buy a pound of it as well as an onion, bok choy, and a carrot for like $15 and it would probably be better. I will say that the marinade/sauce tasted amazing which is why it got two stars.
The service was great. No complaints there.
The atmosphere was great except they were playing some weird rap music that had sexual noises and undertones which I don't mind I just wouldn't expect that at a place like this. Not a complaint, just an observation.
What you are essentially getting from here is finger foods. Don't expect an actual meal like what you would get if you were actually in South Korea.
KATIE!!!!!
Loved it! We had so much fun and everything was delicious!

Wasn't busy when we arrived but filled up fast. Korean bbq is on lower level. Menu ordering on main floor.
Good food, small portions.
Two of our party got their food 20 minutes after the others without explanation or apology.
I went here to eat with a friend and I had a reservation we had to wait 15 min before anyone even talked to us I have been here many times before but this night the music was extra loud we had to ask our server three time for a fork she never refilled our water and never asked if we wanted a second drink then when the bill came we were charged a large party fee ( there was only 2 of us ) when I asked the server to speak with a manager I was told the manager was to busy for me they just lost a good local customer
Delicious food & drinks, & excellent service!
Our waitress was wonderful. The food however was not. The pork belly was tasty, but tough. Not good. I ordered the 11/2 lb lobster and was served 1/2 of a lobster tail slightly bigger than a prawn. Couldn’t have been more than 4oz of lobster meat with little rice cakes for $36. When I asked about the menu saying 1/1/2 lb lobster, I was told that that was the old chef and that this was the new menu. They said they would let me have the dish for $28. I laughed and then he asked me what I thought I should pay for it. I wasn’t in the mood to get into a bidding war over my food. I should have just sent it back because by the time I got to eat it, it was rubbery and cold- over cooked. My son had the bim bim which was ok except half the dish stuck to the bottom of the sizzling dish. Not going back. Really upset about it actually. How can you advertise 11/2 lobster and give you 4oz. Just absurd.
Lots of fun and absolutely amazing food with high quality ingredients
