Food was okay. Wasn't that busy & staff still came off incredibly frazzled
My favorite breakfast / brunch place in Portland! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The ambiance is cozy and inviting. Plenty of tables for groups of various sizes. Creative Balkan-inspired breakfast and brunch classics with unique cultural specialties as well. Favorites include the Parzhen (fried eggplant); Eggs Panagura; and Shakshuka with kyufte sausage. Everything on the menu is delicious! Coffee and made-to-order drinks are tasty and beautifully presented. The staff here go above and beyond to deliver exceptional service, quality, and experience. I am so lucky to come here regularly!

Nom was excellent! I can’t say enough about the food-so tasty-I wanted one of each thing on the menu, it all looked delicious! My husband and I started with sharing the Mekitsi, then I had the eggs panagura and my husband had the shakshuka with kyufte sausage. It was all so good! Service was great too. We look forward to coming back!

The food was good (gotta work on those lattes though), the staff seemed to be a little bit unsynchronized

My boyfriend was born and raised in Bulgaria. We stopped by Nom Cafe for brunch on New Years Day and were very impressed by the food. The kyufte and lutenitsa hit very close to home for him. The lutenitsa is the best I have been able to find outside of Bulgaria. The ambience of the restaurant is very cute and welcoming, and the service was excellent as well.

Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly! We even got a latte and chai and they were better than most coffee shops. Gavyn is one of the best servers I've ever had at a restaurant and will definitely be back. One of Portland's most slept on brunch spots.

A quiet little cafe/diner that my friends and I discovered by accident. The restaurant is clean, but simple. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is TO DIE FOR. Even the simple faires, like a BLT, are elevated with balkan flavors.

What a wonderful cafe! Stopped by for some breakfast after our long drive from NJ. Every single thing we ate was so fresh and delicious. Such a cozy atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. Absolutely would recommend if you’re in the area!

They are somewhat of a rip off. They charge for their syrup and never mentioned it. They barely give you any syrup for their soggy waffles. Go somewhere else.

I cannot speak highly enough of this establishment. I made a reservation for a group of foodies here in hopes to expand their brunch experience in Portland, and the service we were offered was above and beyond. The food was delicious and everyone left with big smiles, the people serving us were patient with us as a big party with specific requests and were kind and gracious, we spoke with the partner of the owner and learned how special this menu is from a personal and cultural standpoint, and the atmosphere was warm and cozy but also fresh and clean. Overall, love Nom Cafe.
