My favorite breakfast / brunch place in Portland! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The ambiance is cozy and inviting. Plenty of tables for groups of various sizes. Creative Balkan-inspired breakfast and brunch classics with unique cultural specialties as well. Favorites include the Parzhen (fried eggplant); Eggs Panagura; and Shakshuka with kyufte sausage. Everything on the menu is delicious! Coffee and made-to-order drinks are tasty and beautifully presented. The staff...
Nom was excellent! I can’t say enough about the food-so tasty-I wanted one of each thing on the menu, it all looked delicious! My husband and I started with sharing the Mekitsi, then I had the eggs panagura and my husband had the shakshuka with kyufte sausage. It was all so good! Service was great too. We look forward to coming back!
My boyfriend was born and raised in Bulgaria. We stopped by Nom Cafe for brunch on New Years Day and were very impressed by the food. The kyufte and lutenitsa hit very close to home for him. The lutenitsa is the best I have been able to find outside of Bulgaria. The ambience of the restaurant is very cute and welcoming, and the service was excellent as well.
