Stopped by with our book club for a night cap. The place has a great atmosphere and our bartender, Blake was extremely skilled and could make anything! Our group enjoyed hot toddies and Irish coffees!

Really enjoyed the ginger chai latte and the atmosphere here. Great place to hangout, work, or browse some books while having a coffee or cocktail

Haley and the whole Novel team went above and beyond to make us welcome when our wedding after-party was seeking shelter from the rain. The food was delicious, too. I only wish I could have stayed longer to browse their magnificent book collection!

Very cool/cozy cafe and bookstore combo. Drinks were prepared quickly and were great as well as affordable, staff was friendly and provided excellent service, and this is just an all around nice place to be. Didn't really check the price of any books but given that the food/drink were fairly priced I assume the books would be as well, and they have a decent selection considering they're also a cafe/bar. Bathrooms were clean and very well presented. Open late as well which is a huge plus.

Novel is a fun and inviting café, serving up delicious lattes as well as alcoholic concoctions at their cozy bar. books
from a variety of genres line the walls, and patrons are welcome to read them. board games are also available, with ample space for a foursome to enjoy a game of Clue together. worth checking out when you're in Portland and looking for a chill spot to recharge.

I go for the silent book club every month. It's cozy and I can get a drink and read uninterrupted. The couches and chairs are comfy and the drinks reasonably priced. The staff is awesome and bring the drinks right to you.

Good cocktails and board games and coffee and books. This place is doing a lot but the vibes are immaculate anyways. Could've spent hours playing games and alternating caffeine and alcohol.

A fantastically cozy little cafe/bar/bookstore. Meet with friends or sit solo and work on that book you're writing. The chai is spicy, the hot cocoa is balanced, and the pastries taste fresh.

The roasting room is on display where you can watch them roast their coffee beans live.
