I grew up in NY in the ‘70s. This is the best pizza I have had in 40 years. And I lived in Brooklyn since then. This place is a treasure and don’t miss upstairs. Nothing goes together better than pizza, video games, and pinball.
This place has cool vibes and you can get High Life Ponies. The crust is so dang good, a really nice crisp to it with a lot of flavor. I love how you can get pizza by the slice to which is always helpful in a pinch. The sauce wasn’t fully for me but everything else about it made up for it.
Came here twice during our last Portland trip. The pizza is of course fantastic, but the hidden stars here are the sandwiches. They freshly bake the focaccia every morning and it brings them to another level. I tried the Bologna Pony and my husband had the Pace Setter...both were unreal. Bottled cocktails and friendly servers round out a phenomenal quick bite.
