Service was really slow, but the servers were kind. I was excited to see Monte Cristo on their menu, but it wasn't made correctly, the raspberry jam was more like a rough chutney, and the raspberries were fermented.
Just left there and apparently we didn't read the menu carefully. Food was good, service fairly slow for only our table waiting for food. The surprise came with the check. When reviewing the charges, there is a 3% surcharge that goes to the kitchen staff. Not optional, it helps pay them according to the explanation on the check. This should not be a surprise at the bottom of the check, it should be posted, or the customer should be notified in some way. Some of the practices...

Friendly service. Excellent brunch. Loved the omelette (added olives). Generous portions. My mom loved the atmosphere. The menu has something for everyone, breakfast or lunch with great sides as well.
