I was loyal to the Gorham Otto’s but it’s been closed now for months - these folks on Read Street consistently take an extra 5-10 mins to make my pie but it’s pretty decent quality and consistently better than any of the other guys who have chains in the area. Price is creeping up but it’s fair given the market

Loved the energy watching the staff in the open kitchen preparing orders, EVERYONE, at somepoint was smiling. It was clearly a stressful, busy work environment and it never showed thru their demeanor. Excellent customer service 👏

Wow. What a low class establishment. I walked in to pick up my order which wasn’t ready at the time stated. No problem. While I was waiting, a young kid came in to ask for a job, the old female working there sent him to the website and then proceeded to rip him apart with her staff after he left.
Then they turned around to say I (Benjamin) was there to pickup and proceeded to mock the notes on my pizza order, asking for a crispy pizza not burnt. I only ask this because in NYC I have 7 pizzerias, and crispy, well done, etc. means different things to different people cooking. Occasionally a crispy note will get you a well done pizza.
I don’t know how careless or just ill mannered you have to be to mock someone 6 feet away from you when you know that they’re there, but the fact that this happened was insane. And the fact that it seemed to be the senior most and oldest man and women managing the venue leading this assail of low-class, bad character was wild. I don’t care if this pizza is the best I’ve ever had, they should be ashamed to identify as a hospitality establishment, since there is clearly no hospitality to be found here. Shameful display.

Gave me the wrong order, told me it would be 6 minutes until the correct food was made. Ended up waiting another 40-50 minutes and it was still wrong. Manager only offered me a $3.75 refund on toppings that were missing.
Food is subpar and very overpriced. Only good thing is their crust. very woke and terrible people insude.Auburn local was way better
Absolutely disgusting experience at Otto Pizza on Reed Street. While waiting for my pizza, I witnessed one of the young employees making a salad — and I honestly couldn’t believe what I saw. With gloves on, he was cutting vegetables and literally taking a bite of each item he put into the customer’s salad. He bit into a piece of lettuce, then a green pepper, then a tomato — all without hesitation, right in front of everyone, and with the same gloves he was using to prepare the food.
As if that wasn’t revolting enough, I then watched him scoop salad dressing out of what looked like a massive vat of dressing just sitting at room temperature. No refrigeration, no ice, just a big tub of warm dressing being spooned onto salads.
When he finished preparing the salads, he handed them to the customer and immediately picked up the phone to take an order — still wearing the exact same gloves he had just used to touch food and eat with.
Completely unacceptable. The hygiene here is beyond horrifying, and honestly, it made me lose my appetite for the pizza I was waiting for. Health inspectors should be all over this place.

When it comes to allergies, they go above and beyond to ensure your safety. The service is insanely good. And the vegan pizza was incredible! Definitely go here! Reminds me of Two Boots from NYC.

Good good pies! Customer service is to me always on point. Friendly people comfortable atmosphere. And they normally always have slices available! And truth be told that’s important obviously I’ve had many of there whole pies but sometimes I just want one or two different kinds and it’s bliss👌🏽 Chefs kiss! Thank you all for your hard work day in and day out. Sometimes folks just forget how much work goes into what makes a place such as this one run daily. I definitely appreciate y’all and I hope the owner does as well!
