Ya Yay

Came here a few months ago over the summer and forgot to review, but this place was absolutely heavenly. The lobster roll was one of, if not the best lobster rolls we had in Maine (and we had A LOT!) and the paella was just a dream. Additionally, the fries were hands down, the best fries I have ever had. I am a sauce person (in that I always coat my fries in sauce because I hate bland foods) but these fries needed NO sauce at all. They were perfectly seasoned and I gobbled them up immediately. The portion sizes were very generous, as I felt stuffed (in a good way) after coming here. We stayed in the area for 2 days for vacation, and came here both nights for dinner. The owner was so kind and friendly, and I wish the best for her and her husband's business; thinking about driving back up to Maine just to eat here again!! haha

My wife and I missed out on our trip to Spain in 2020 because of COVID-19. So we eventually decided to visit New England with our travel credits. The second we saw the name of this restaurant we knew we had to come. The paella was delicious and I hope that's how it tastes in Spain, whenever we are able to go again. The deep fried lobster Mac and cheese was amazing and we also tried the coconut breaded haddock or cod. Honestly everything there seems like it tastes amazing. The seating is minimal inside but I think there was outdoor seating.

Blown away. As a paella lover, every time I drive by this place I'm always intrigued. Tonight we were finally in the area during dinner time and tried their seafood paella, salmon bruschetta, and grilled octopus salad. Everything was AMAZING. So fresh! Especially the vibrant salad greens and veggies! (Kale, peppers, asparagus, fresh dill) My partner and I were so full after splitting it all we had to take home some of the octopus salad! This is now my favorite restaurant in Portland! Will 1000% be back!

This was our first stop off the airplane from Texas, and I was super excited to get a fresh lobster roll. It was *delicious*. Two of us aren’t seafood eaters, so they had the chicken paella, which they both loved. The owner Casey is super friendly and brought a great Jordanian twist to his food with a garlic lemon sauce. There’s a giant map of the US on the wall to put a pin in, and it was fun to see how far people have traveled to eat here.10/10 would recommend.

Google had many high reviews of this place so I had to check it out. It's a small place on a very busy road. There were only 2 tables to sit at inside. The staff were so friendly. I got the seafood lasagna and it was delicious. It could've been hotter though. The gal made homemade garlic sauce and it was excellent with the lasagna. Serving size of lasagna was big.

The people working there were amazing and nice. Their popular dish was really delicious. The place was super cozy and clean and the prices were definitely fair. I’d really recommend for those who visit Portland.

Simply exceptional food! I have never had seafood that was cooked so perfectly and so well-seasoned! We were on a short vacation and the first day after a long day at the beach we were a bit late for dinner and most restaurants were closing at 8. So my son found this place on our way to our hotel that way we would save some time. The menu looked healthy with a lot of great seafood dishes and since I eat mainly paleo, l was very interested! We reached around 7.20 and were greeted so warmly by the lady who was taking the orders. It's a small place and is more like a takeout place with a few seats inside but two large picnic tables outdoors. We got one of the tables outside and our orders arrived pretty fast in less than 15 minutes! The food was as good as we had hoped for and more! I had ordered the seafood kebabs(the scallops, shrimp, haddock and salmon were cooked perfectly), my husband ordered the paella, my son got the lobster roll and my daughter the lobster mac and cheese. We all loved our dishes and also loved the special paprika seasoned french fries which comes with the kebabs and the lobster rolls. I also loved the housemade garlic mayo which I was told was dairy, egg free and nut free! That was perfect for me since I am on an AIP diet mostly and I had not had mayo in a long time! As we made our payment, we ended u chatting with the chef/owner and his wife(not sure?). They were really warm and wonderful and passionate about what they do! I highly recommend this place! One of the best seafood places in the New England area!

Great food, fresh, and best of all it's tasty! Stop by if you're in the neighborhood.

Cute place with great service. We got the seafood paella and onion rings which each came with an additional sauce which complimented well. The portion for the paella is a little smaller than expected and didn't have that crispy texture from cooking but the flavor was good. I would come again and maybe order another dish. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

After a beautiful week in Maine with dear friends, we stopped here for our last meal together before heading to the airport. My friends had chosen the seafood minestrone and octopus salad, while I had the Caribbean haddock. Everything we had was absolute perfection. We were so warmly greeted by the lovely woman behind the counter whom I assumed was an owner as I sensed her heart and soul was in this business. Her husband was in the back and there is no doubt he knew his fish and how to prepare it for the most discerning palates. Bravo to this small family business for sharing their gift of hospitality. I can not wait until I can return but will savor this last meal for awhile.

What a gem! You can taste the chef's passion for flavor and freshness in every dish. The seafood skewers were packed with as much seafood as possible. Three skewers were more than enough. Salmon, scallop, shrimp and haddock were all large sizes and perfectly cooked. Fries that come with are seasoned with a delish Cajun flavor. Sauces are also super good.Bruschetta is a ciabatta roll cut in half with avocado toast, salmon, caper, marinated pearl onions and lemon peel. I was in love from the first bite. The lemon peel is EXACTLY what fish needs! I've never loved squeezing a lemon on my fish but having that concentrated kick of citrus was a bright spark that compliments the fish so well!Mediterranean octopus salad was delicious but a bit overwhelming for me personally. But i personally don't like cilantro and prefer less dressing. However! THERE'S SO MUCH OCTOPUS AND ITS PERFECTLY COOKED! Not a single bite of my octopus was chewy, it was perfect. I appreciate the variety of cabbage, pepper, carrots in the salad. I could have done with less arugula and no cilantro but hey, even with that i could tell this was some top notch quality food.10/10 would recommend heading over here.

We found this place by chance during a bike ride and decided to stop for lunch. The "Seafood Paella" with fresh mussels, shrimp, and octopus was AMAZING. Prices were very reasonable and portion were also good. We were able to have the bikes with us while having lunch which is a great plus if you plan to stop here during a ride through the trails in Portland. ( The place is right in front of Baxter Woods). I can't recommend this place enough! If you want to try some delicious food give this place a chance! Also the staff was very nice and friendly.

The best seafood paella I have eaten in a while, the white cream sauce with garlic was amazing. Thank you for running such a fine eatery and fresh food. I will be back soon
