My boyfriend is a regular here but is currently in the hospital, he ordered a large pizza online and they made it just as he likes. When I came in they asked where he was and said they hope he feels better. It might just be a pizza but that pizza made his whole week a million times better, he’s been having a really hard time so thank you to the team at Pizzaiolo.

After numerous times of coming here, for some odd reason this was the time they decided to hold my NYS ID hostage because they were too stupid enough to think they were fake? Some 16 year old thought our IDs were fake and said we have to call the cops to get our IDs back. Never coming back again after getting humiliated in front of staff and customers

Pizza is great but they need to really work on smiling and being friendly when greeting people. The young girl behind the counter blonde did not smile once and looked completely annoyed to be there. It was uncomfortable.

Extremely disappointing experience.
I came in with two friends to grab some slices and a few drinks, and the bartenders were absolutely convinced that our IDs were fake. They refused to give them back unless we called the cops — which we had to do. When the police arrived, our IDs were confirmed to be completely real and valid New York State licenses.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I’ve ordered drinks here before with the exact same ID, and never had an issue. The staff clearly need to be trained better and do more research on what actual NYS licenses look like before accusing paying customers of something they didn’t do.
We were embarrassed in front of other customers for no reason. Definitely won’t be coming back until they learn how to properly verify IDs and treat people with a bit more respect.

Delicious pizza! I like a bit of a chewy crust, great cheese, just what we needed after a long day of driving
Food okay. Friendly staff. Guy who works late should stop reving his motorcycle late in the evening so people can sleep

This pizzeria is better than most I’ve experienced in NYC. It’s thin, has some crunch, fresh ingredients, and is very flavorful. Pizzaiolo is a must have for ANYONE and EVERYONE in the area looking for some good pizza!

I ordered a small Porko to go. Pizza came out of the oven, was cut and placed on top of the ovens with other orders. Waited more and then eventually someone in the kitchen asked what order it was and the guy who took our order realized it was our Porko. When I got the box I looked in expecting a good looking pizza with pepperoni, meatballs and sausage but what I saw was a pizza with 10-12 pepperoni pieces, 8 thin slices of pepperoni sized meatball and no sausage.
When I asked the counter guy why there was no sausage he looked and tried to tell me that small flecks of meatball debris near the meatball slices were sausage. Not gonna argue with him but it was a 20$ pizza that you could have gotten from Domino's for what.. 5-8$. I went where I did because I wanted a good pizza. Felt robbed instead.
