Consistently a great place for Thai for over the decade I’ve been going. Always busy, but easy to grab a table and quick food service. Locals love Pom’s Thai!

If you have a hard time deciding what to order when you go to restaurants, this is going to be a nightmare for you - the menu is huge and everything sounds and looks delicious! (There are even pictures on the menu which is a nice touch!) Their ginger salad dressing is amazing. This restaurant is one of the few places I order a salad and get excited about it. Lol. The fresh spring rolls with chicken are perfect every time. The steamed butterflies are a hard to find menu item, and Pom's does it right every time. Soups to order - easy - all of them. You can't go wrong with a single curry from their menu. Definitely try the create your own stir fry- you literally get your meal made exactly how you want, and no matter how many ingredient options you add to it, the price doesn't increase. I could go on and on - as I said, the menu is massive. So many great options so I'm going to wrap up my recommendations here. I don't think there is a wrong choice at this restaurant. I highly recommend Poms! (Either location - Portland or So Po)

I have never been to"Pom's Thai Taste", but I became acquainted with Pom over twenty years ago when she owned "Thai Dish" which was then located at 136 Pleasant Street in Brunswick. It was originally "Thai Place" and it was here that I experienced Thai cuisine for the first time. I continued to go there whenit later became "Thai Dish" and I was impressed with Pom's skills in restaurant management. I was a frequent customer and she even introduced me to her father when he was there visiting and helping out. I no longer drive as far away as Portland, but I've heard a lot of positive things about "Pom's Thai Taste" and I saw the video. Sorry you're not closer to the Brunswick area. Regards, and all the best.

This place would’ve gotten 5 stars, the food was excellent, but they added a tip that was 42% of the total. I clearly put a tip that was 20%. I would use cash if eating

Stopped in since it's close to work. Ordered my meal and the food was fine. It was the service. They have a loyalty program and since it's by work, I went online to see if I could sign up. Said I had to there so I tried and the cashier/waiter refused to sign me up. Why have a loyalty program if you don't want people to become loyal?

Pom's food is amazing. Red curry and drunken noodle are my favorites here, and they are the best in town. If you dine in you will find yourself in a non-hip oasis - it almost feels like a 90s Portland living history museum. Highly recommended.

Haven't physically been there so I am unsure what the customer service or atmosphere is like. Ordered through 2 dine in.Food is amazing though! I got drunken noodles??? (extra meat and added egg), as well as pot stickers. Super happy with my order. I have no problem with ordering from them again.

I usually don’t like Thai food since everywhere I’ve had it it’s been boring and bland. This place was not the case. FANTASTIC food, the massaman curry was spicy, sweet, sour, and delicious (wish it was more spicy and they wouldn’t hold back the spice). The Tom Kha soup is also insanely good and you can taste the galangal. I honestly might make a special trip from Boston to Portland to come get this place again. Absolutely phenomenal food that left me stuffed and begging for bread to soak up all the curry goodness. I will definitely be coming back.

The food was amazing, I had the yellow duck curry with jasmine rice and it was amazing. The server was very friendly and patient. Very clean restaurant, dinning wear and bathroom.
