FANTASTIC food at a GREAT price! The portions were MUCH bigger than expected!
Portland Lobster Company has a great atmosphere with plenty of seating and a live band that adds to the vibe. The food comes out fast, which is a plus. I ordered the clam chowder and a lobster roll, but both were kind of meh – not bad, just not memorable. It’s a self-order setup, so it’s pretty laid-back if that’s what you're looking for. Overall, it was a good spot to hang out, but the food didn’t quite hit the mark for me.

Food was good, but for a special occasion, visiting my daughter and grandchildren, we spent most of the time waiting in line at the restroom. Lines were so long for 2 small bathrooms, it's very inconvenient and really disrupted the visit. We won't be back

Great little restaurant right on the water, serving some of the freshest lobster around. Got the lobster roll and loved it

Was good atmosphere for sure, good music, would certainly be happier if the lobster roll was closer to the size expected for the price.

This was a good place to get a lobster roll if you can't go anywhere else. Touristy and overcrowded and the rolls were ok.
Wish I had waited to get one at the little food truck at Portland Head Lighthouse!

Lobster rolls are not that good Going to the restroom is unacceptable stood in line for 15 minutes. I want my money back.
Highly recommend. Best lobster stew of my life in a wonderful sea salt air setting. Huge bread bowl too. So hehe I’ve not had lobster stew before but have had plenty of clam chowder. This is way better.

Was so busy but we still got a table within 10 minutes. Brilliant how they take your order first, you go to the hostess to get a seat and they take your number so you get a text when your table is ready and then you go to your table and have a great meal! Been here twice now and will go back every time we visit Portland.
Had dinner here, and the lobster roll was great, filled with all claw meat! Chowder was also outstanding. My kids split a grilled cheese. I would say for $80+ we weren’t offered as much food as we thought.

We were around the area and decided to give this place a try. Ordered the Portland famous lobster roll, and I was surprised the portion was so small with such a hefty price. There was not much lobster meat, and the bread is a bit soggy. The location was nice since it is right by the pier and it was relaxing to drink a couple of beers with friends. Was expecting a bit more for the lobster roll since we are in Portland!
