This bar has the best atmosphere! I loved the rustic feel to it (brick walls and log cabin vibes). I ordered a lobster roll and it was delicious. The service was great.

Great beer selection and lobster roll. I tried a few of Portland’s hyped-up ‘must-try’ rolls, and this one surpassed them all—including my own expectations. I’ll definitely be back.

Anthony is an AllStar bartender. Makes an incredible margarita. We are Texans from San Antonio and love MashTun, our favorite local hideaway just a block from the touristy places on the wharf. Here on our sailboat. Lobster roll, oysters and of course the burgers, are excellent too.

This is the second time I’ve been to Portland and the first time I’ve been to Old Port. This is the BEST bar I’ve been to in New England.
The atmosphere is super chill, and the service is amazing. Our bartender, Anthony, was friendly, attentive, and made the best margarita I’ve ever had.
For food, I got the green beans, Caesar salad and Mash Tun burger, and nothing disappointed. The patrons were friendly and the vibe was just right.
10/10 recommend and will be back next time I’m in Old Port!

This place is so awesome dude
Old town bar serving the best lobster roll I had on Portland, Maine. The lobster roll was delicious, great toasted bun with a little bed of lettuce. Pure taste of lobster with a little bit of butter without other sauce that masks the taste of the lobster. French fries were also very delicious so make sure you get that as well.

Good food, guy with hat taking orders was not friendly at first to our large party - that alone would make me not want to go back if it happened another time, as there are plenty of other good lobster places in Portland.
A good solution may be to start using order numbers to avoid the confusion when the place gets slammed. That seems have been part of the reason for the hiccup.

This is a great little place to chill and have a drink. Staff are very warm, welcoming, and attentive. Yummy lobster roll and some really delicious and flavorful chicken tacos that actually taste better than a lot of what’s in southern AZ - I was impressed. Highly recommend!

Bartender was extremely rude and short did not care about my allergy… we have been in several times this visit he was busy and overwhelmed when I offered to help he said it’s best to just be patient when I ordered what we normally did and noticed he put Campari in my drink which I am allergic he said I did and it’s batches when all other times they are amazing and make it from scratch I also paid for an extra shot we had food but I was so upset I walked out and my husband stayed behind… this was the worst experience ever.

Good burgers🍔, pretty welcoming staff and late hours⌚. Their tap list is huge and covers quite a lot of local beer 🍺. If you are out late in the city 🏙️ it's a great option.
tacos and burgers were great! and the prices can’t be beat. i had a mezcal paloma and it was delicious!
Food and drinks were very reasonably priced and tasted good.
Service left much to be desired. We came in and weren't sure how to get a table, so we went up to ask. We kept trying to get a bartenders attention, and it took so long that I wonder if we were being ignored on purpose. The two bartenders served the same people multiple times before one of them finally came up to us.
