We stumbled upon this shop / studio during our trip and couldn't resist buying some locally made pottery! The prices are super affordable (for handmade pottery) but the pieces are absolutely stunning. Very talented people
I found this amazing shop in the Maine Pottery trail last year and was blown away by the local talent! I purchased some gorgeous pieces made by their artist/students. This is a must visit while in Portland!
Arun was a great instructor who balanced letting us make the mistakes necessary to learn a bit and “showing us how to clean things up a bit” just enough to improve things. A two-hour private class for up to three people is a great deal, and then they dry, glaze and fire your pieces for pick up a few weeks later. We each ended up with 3-4 imperfectly perfect pieces.
