This place is all right. They have a handful of different vendors and food places and there's a dining space upstairs. You would think this place would be packed and there'd be a whole bunch. More people in the weekends but always seems to be quiet and not all the vendors seem to be open at the same time.
**This review is for The Frying Dutchman**As other reviewers have mentioned, the Public Market House has a great variety of local foods, but the downside is that each vendor runs their own hours, making it challenging to have the full range of options when you visit. We wanted to try Mr. Tuna or YardiTing, but both vendors were closed at the time.We settled on The Frying Dutchman (located on the second floor). This is a great place to come for lunch in a lovely part of Portland. A very cute chill vibe. They have a large selection of food...something for every picky pallette. We got food from the Pie in the Sky and Big Skye Bread Company. It was delish food-large portions n the Maine thing...wonderful friendly service. ☺️
