Stopped here the other night for a drink. They are open late so it's a good spot for late night drinks as well. They have a large bar and it's a hang out for a lot of local people. The bar tender was super nice, and they have any drink you really want. They do make their own cocktails but I have never tried it. I also have never tried any of their food. Nothing special about this place but a good stop if you want a late night drink. I need to go back to try a cocktail and food and my review may change.

Initially, we thought this bar was worthy of five stars. They posted the drink specials outside of the bar and they were enticing enough to bring us in. The bar was nice and empty at the time, but very quickly we realized that it was no longer happy hour. The $4 wells drinks and $2.50 drafts are only available from 4-7pm. Things got out of hand quickly and we felt unsafe. The eight to ten cowboys from behind the bar approached our table asked us to leave. As any good, law abiding citizens would we stood our ground. Shots were fired. The sheer number of cowboys pushed us outside into the streets. The main offender devin was shot. We had to drag him out. They had cowboy boots and hats! We didn’t expect to find this in Portland maine. 4/5 stars.

We hadn't been to this place so decided to stop in. I'm glad we did. Their haddock bites are delicious! Enjoyed our meal. We were a little early in the evening so it wasn't too crowded. Was definitely picking up as we left. Nice crowd, nice bartender/waiter. Would go back!

Don't go when they open and don't bring your kids. We got there at 12, opening time. I get it, it's a little annoying but we needed to feed the kids before heading back home. They had burgers and mac and cheese so we opted for this place and happened to get there just before they opened so we waited until they opened and went in. We weren't greeted with anything close to welcome or warmth. My husband had to ask if they could take our order. No one came to the table. We had to ask the bartender for waters. I TOTALLY get that there's staffing shortage. I am super sympathetic to that. But a little kindness goes a long way. I would truly have been happy to do all that if I had felt welcomed or at least tolerated. Then there's the music. It was bad but that's not the problem. Every song was also extremely explicit. Not just a couple or many curse words thrown around but explicit details about sex and drugs and lots of f words and mf words. My eleven year old actually looked me in the eye and said "this music is EXPLICIT!" Now I'm not a prude by any stretch and my kids hear curses in what I listen to but this was extreme. If I took my kids there when they were younger I would have been legit livid, and I still felt as though I had to apologize to my youngest. Apparently the bartender was on her phone the whole time, my partner thinks they were messing with the playlist but even I think that too nefarious. Yet song after song was heavily laden with really terrible stuff for kids to hear. And it was loud. The food was ok, the Mac and cheese was huge and good, the fries and burger were ok, the chicken bomb was good and the cheese steak was cold and fatty. And then we had to ask for our check (she could have called over from the bar really, there weren't other customers) and we put all our stuff on the bar to to clean up and we left.
