Obviously it goes without saying the quality of baked goods at Standard Baking Co. is extremely high. My issue is with the online ordering experience. I just spent 30 minutes trying to buy a single loaf of bread and very nearly gave up.

World class pastry, and breads. I have been going here for years and the one thing that would make Service better is Wi-Fi for the customers.

I love this bakery! My husband and I took a day trip to Portland and this was one of the highest suggested places we visited. There is a huge selection to chose from and the options are fresh and delicious.

The morning bun with walnuts was one of the best pastries I’ve tried in Portland. The line was pretty long right when they opened but it moved quickly!

I’m rarely blown away by baked goods but everything I got here was top notch. Best croissant I’ve had in a long time. Very buttery and fresh. Also got the morning bun with walnuts and will 1000% be going back. Super cute building with lots of outdoor space and a parking lot in front.

There was a long line, but it moved quickly and was worth the wait. My croissant and ham and cheese croissant were delicious!

Most of the time you can get a spot in the lot and run in to get delicious breads and baked goods to go. Their pastries are too notch and the best in Portland.

WOW, what a find. Super good bakery, but, get there within an hour of opening. Many items sell out.
We had croissants, sticky buns, scones and some pear tarts.

A nice little bakery near the Old Port. It has a varied selection of baked goods. The scones were moist. I really liked the molasses cookies. They were nice and chewy not hard. Everything was not too sweet. I went there two days in a row and both times there was a line before they opened. They opened on time. A must if you're in Portland.

If I could give them 10 stars for the taste and quality of the food, I would. Stumbled on this bakery the first morning of our trip to Portland, and then stopped there for all 4 mornings we were in Portland. Tried something different each day. The breads were cooked to perfection, and the scones, croissants and pastries were delicious. Don't miss this amazing bakery.
