Every item we tried at Standard Baking Co. was really good—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can see why it’s so popular. However, parking was limited, there wasn’t much room inside to stand and order, there’s no dine-in seating, no restrooms, and on busy days you may end up standing outside in the biting cold while waiting. Even so, the quality of the baked goods makes it worth the stop if you’re prepared for a grab-and-go experience.

Standard Baking Co. offers a variety of baked goods, including artisan breads, pastries like croissants and scones, and other treats such as cookies and morning buns. The possibilities are endless! Beautiful bakery, friendly staff always something yummy to pick up while visiting Portland.
Sometimes you have to wait a little bit to get inside, but it’s worth the wait!!
My favorite is the chocolate chip cookie with sea salt pecan and the morning bun. Worth checking out!!
