This place is a total dump. Stained carpet, sticky tables, flithy walls, greasy windows. Leave your germaphobe boyfriend at home and come here for some golden fried haddock, crispy shrimp and a lobster roll with chunks of lobster so big you won't mind that your elbows are stuck to the greasy, rickety picknik table.

We were so hopeful this place was going to be great seafood.We made our friends go with us who hadn't been in 15 years. They got sick the last time they went but only told us after we ate there. Because we were new to the area & it had been so long since they had been, they were good sports and went along.We started with onion rings. Those were so GOOD! We were excited to get the rest of our meal. Our friends ordered the Seafood Platter, and my husband and I shared a Seafood Combo of fish and fried oysters.The first fried oyster I ate was off. The flavor I cannot explain, but I knew something was wrong. I should have spit it out. Our friend also likes oysters, so he tried one and said it was fine. I then ate a second one, and it tasted fine.We ate and left. Within 30 mins my husband was in the bathroom. Within 2 hrs our friends were in the bathroom as well.Needless to say, we will not be back to Susan's. Our friends tried to warn us.The place is also old, and the floor was dirty. The carpet was stained and doesn't look like it's been cleaned in years.
This place is in a converted garage. Parking is very limited. Seating is "family style" so you'll be sitting with new friends. The bulk of the menu is deep fried. On weekends they offer deep fried lobster! Yummy. All of the food is very tasty, hands down. A few times we tried to go but parking was impossible. Be persistent, however, it'll be worth it.Parking: Hit or miss.
I had lunch here and it tasted great! The staff worked well together. They were inviting and efficient I recommend to anyone who likes seafood. The chowder was top notch!
