Went today for the first time. Food was top notch!! I would 100% recommend!!
I LOVE their fried avocado puffy tacos and their margaritas are phenomenal! Every time I find myself near Portland, I make sure to stop in!
$26 for a burrito, even a steak burrito, is way too much money! The description is very misleading. It says $12 for burrito with choice of filling. $3 to smother it. It does not say any of the choices are extra. It’s a complete rip off. While it was good, it wasn’t worth $26 and I would not recommend this to anyone. If you are going to charge a lot of money, put it in black and white so people know what they are paying. Sleezy practices like this leave a bad taste in my mouth. No pun intended. There are plenty of restaurants in Portland where they actually tell you the price of the food.
Delicious food and great service!

This was my go to place for years. The last few times, the service was so bad that I walked out before ordering. I went in today and the big bearded guy behind the counter basically served every one else, and did not even bother taking my order. The customer next to me was flabbergasted that the guy kept asking him if he needed anything else but basically ignored me ,even though I waved at him many times to get his attention.. I ended up walking out and going to Thai tree restaurant across the street. The wait staff was kind, attentive and the food was Delicious . Working as an ER doctor and working back to back shifts, all I wanted was a hot meal and a cool drink and friendly service. I will never go to Taco Escobarr again because this happens more often than not.

The food is always so yummy! The price, on the other hand, is pricy! Check your receipts for added prices. They also tip the kitchen! A nice gesture, but?! Atmosphere is a bar like, fun place, but the seats are very uncomfortable! I think that should be improved. The place is extremely small, so you may have a wait, but again, the food is worth the wait! The parking is a bit of a challenge due to being right on Congress St but somehow, I always find a spot but unless your in a parking lot or garage, you will be looking at your time for the meters are running! Otherwise, very good food!

Great food, ate at the bar. Bartender was super nice and made a delicious apple cider margarita mocktail for me.

One of the best things about this place is that their kitchen is open until they close at night. It’s a god send for people on the lookout for dinner/food later at night in Portland. We got here at about 10:30 PM on a Sunday after a long day chasing fall foliage and were quite hungry. The food was delicious and their house Margarita was made exactly as a Marg should be. Well balanced!
Will definitely be back at a more reasonable time with an appetite to savor some more items from their menu.
Parking: Parking can be a challenge since it’s in the city center area.

Literally one of the best Mexican places I’ve ever eaten at. Shrimp taco, bisteka and Al pastor tacos were all amazing.

The hostess was very rude and non apparent. There were open seats at the bar and two open booths with nobody waiting. Yet there was a “waitlist,” and nobody waiting. She was abrasive and not hospitable. Will not return when the initial impressions were so abrasive and other options nearby so welcoming.

Lucia S. was our server and she was so great to us. Very knowledgeable about the menu and so friendly! We sat outside which was really nice and we got to chat with other patrons. Got some pork tacos which were awesome, and the nachos for an app which were loaded with toppings! Everything was super fresh and tasty even at midnight! Such a great spot in Portland. 10/10
