If I could give 10 stars, I would. This place is AMAZING in every way. The coffee is the best I've ever tasted, nothing compares. I love going to this location for their pour over coffee!!! Okay and their scones are out of this world. But what really gets me about this location specifically is the service. Everyone that works here genuinely loves their job and brings such a feel good ambience with their big smiles and eagerness to help and share their knowledge of coffee!...
Just happened to be walking by here and decided to grab a coffee. The pastries looked to good to pass up. Their black coffee was very good and the jalapeno cheddar biscuit and raspberry scone w/ pistachio frangipane were great as well. We spent 8 days in Portland, Bar Harbor, and Boston and this was one of our favorite morning stops of them all.
Tandem serves an excellent espresso, lots of complex flavors. The service was good, the store was clean and quaint. Parking was easy and plentiful. I'll be back whenever I'm back in Portland.
Update: Been back several times, now. Always excellent drinks and the bakery goods are excellent, as well. Highly recommended.
