My girlfriend and I made a trip to Portland this weekend for my 35th birthday. This was our first time here. Our server Shawn hopefully I spelt his name right, was amazing. He was Very attentive as well as knowledgeable on the drink and dinner menu. The focaccia bread was a great starter as I had saw other reviews said to try it out.My girlfriend got the swordfish with risotto which was cooked perfectly which is hard to do. I got the hanger steak medium rare and that was cooked perfectly as well.I don’t drink so I got an athletic brew and my girlfriend got a cosmo and she said it was delicious. We got the cannoli at the end for dessert and it was so yummy! With an added birthday candle! We would definitely come back if we come back to Portland. Thank you for a great birthday dinner!

This was our first time to this restaurant and the experience was wonderful . The service was superb. Our waitress advised us to put our full order in so we could make our 630 show and we weren't rushed. The food was awesome ...we had the Gemelli and Cioppino, the bruschetta with tomatoes and mozzarella and the baked Crespelle. Outstanding 5/5 will definitely return

Our server was very attentive and gave a great description of the menu and suggestions. We love this restaurant because the Italian is authentic. My husband has the bolognese and it was the best! Always our got to in Portland even with the many other restaurants

Overall, a great experience. The wait staff were upbeat and eager to make sure it was a great experience. The food was very good but portions were a bit small for an Italian restaurant.

Atmosphere is great. If you are looking for real Italian food this isn’t the place to get it. Garlic bread we ordered for the table was better than all 5 of our entrees. Service wasn’t that good either. Waitress gave one of our guests a hard time over allergy questions.

We were there this evening for our son's birthday! We had the worst waitress I think I've ever had!!I have allergies and she didn't want to accommodate me at all to the point of she bipassed my entree order!! On to the food!! The food here was absolutely horrible the sauce tasted like sour can sauce, my husband's chicken was horrible too, so all five meals containing sauce dishes, horrible salad and chicken were not edible!! We literally handed the waitress our meals to have her see they were mostly uneaten and she boxed them without asking what was wrong!! I will never return to this location and I will pass this along to anyone that asks!! Our meals came to 200 uneaten!! Shameful, also can say is that the population of people that were eating there and seemed happy don't have a clue what good food should taste like, we couldn't say anything at the time because we were trying to stay calm and respectful for our son's special day!! He definitely agreed though

The corner room was the perfect date night spot! Our server Shaun (not sure if the spelling is correct) was so kind & attentive! A little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. Would 100% recommend.

Our server, I believe his name was Sean was fantastic. Checked on us periodically, but not over done. Made perfect suggestions for food and wine choices and made sure we were not rushed or made late for the show at Merrill. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. Very delightful experience. We will return when we are in the area again.

Pasta is very good, lighting is less moody and more I need a flashlight to read my menu. Focaccia bread is phenomenal but you will need order it separately now thanks to this economy. Overall great food, get a reservation I highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Pizza and pasta can customize menu items

1st time was quite impressed. Very tasty food, great ambiance, and excellent service. Will be going back next time in Portland. Great pre-show dinner option, only a 2 minute walk from Merrill Auditorium. Italian fare - be sure to check out the specials menu- lasagna was excellent
