I tried many ice cream shops in this town but the best scoop goes to this shop with Maine blueberry cobbler. The other flavors I tried were not as good as this single flavor so if you go, just get the cobbler, it's delicious. Across the street there is another fabulous place which has real Italian gelato which actually have decided is higher quality since all of their flavors are superb, but this blueberry cobbler one took my heart as the top contender flavor in Portland.

I ordered a gelato from DoorDash after a night out so idk how good the atmosphere or service is but doesn’t matter— the gelato was great! So so so creamy and delicious. Very rich but that’s ice cream for you! Lots of great options to try, can’t wait to try more!

Came here summer of '22 and revisited just now!! The torched marshmallow s'more is my fav but the hazelnut tastes just like amazing gelato I've had in Italy. I love this place so much!!

I went into Gelato Fiasco and had an experience that left a really "sour taste in my mouth". Not from the Gelato, I'll comment on that later, but from the service. I was irritated and left an unfair review. The management reached out to me and resolved the issues quickly and professionally. I couldn't be more pleased. As for the Gelato, we have been staying at PHH for the past week while some work on our condo is finished. I have been to Gorgeous Gelato once and Gelato Fiasco 3 times. Gelato Fiasco has more selection and is a creamier product. It is in my opinion the best Gelato around.

Can’t say I’ve had terrible gelato, but what sets this place from the rest, is you can try as many flavors first and you can add as many flavors in one size. Three flavors in a small was huge! Very worth it. Really yummy flavors!

Tried a bunch, loved the resurgam, dark caramel, and pistachio mascarpone (wasn't as in love with some of the others, so I really appreciated getting to try first). Each of these felt like that had an extra dimension of deep caramelized, nutty, or slightly funky flavor. Absolutely loved. Server was so kind and helpful! Happy to share a little info about each flavor we tried, and very patient with us and with the family before us in letting everyone try stuff, which is no easy feat. Overall will love to come back.
